A realism focused Reshade preset based of off the Agressor preset. Agressors weather config file is highly recommended. Darker/ more colorful foliage texture mods recommended Realstic bright days, gloomy rain, and dark nights Lumscale settings need to be tweaked Enhanced PBR Shaders compatible
Devilish Muscle Mans Reshade based off of the awesome Agressor preset by Awene. This preset makes the game much less fantastical. That means there is no more haze, bloom, and weird/ unrealistic color grading compared to most Reshade presets. A look based on real lighting conditions was in mind when I made this. Expect to use your flashlight or nightvision goggles A LOT. When it's dark outside, it actually gets as dark as it should be. Chernobyl is a place with almost no light pollution and working electricity so prepare for actual dark nights and proper bright days.
Things like brightness and saturation can be toned down in-game through the default basic light settings sliders. This preset was made with autumn/ darker foliage in mind but almost any texture mods (except snow) can work well with the 3 included versions.
***Install: drag the contents of the folder called "Reshade" into your Stalker bin folder***
***Setup: Depending on how many/ what visual mods you have, you may need to choose different reshade presets. Press "home" when ingame to bring up the reshade menu and load a preset to match your install/ tastes.***
THIS PRESET WAS DONE WITH THE AGRESSOR WEATHER CONFIG AND DX11 MAX SETTINGS- But it works well enough with default weather. Michikos weather mod may also work well but you may need to alter the R2_sun_lumscale settings
I'm also trying to make a decent version with Ray of Anomalous Worlds weather, since thats how I started this reshade in the first place.
1: In-game, press ~ to bring up the console and type in the following things 1 at a time and press enter after each one. Don't forget to write down the original values you have set them to before
r2_sun_lumscale 1.5
r2_sun_lumscale_amb 3
r2_sun_lumscale_hemi .75
2: Choose your preset in the Reshade dropdown menu
There are 3 presets and I tried my best to tune each one for the 3 general visual types of mods that people use-
"PBRShaders" preset is self explanatory. It works best with the overall brighter image that PBR shaders bring to the game and works well with most kind of foliage texture mods.
---TAKE NOTE--- I tuned this preset with NONE of the optional Color Grading CFGs. if you have the optional color grading installed I suggest you remove them or just deal with a funky image.
You could always alter the reshade to work with the color grading but at that, reshade gives more flexibility than whats included with the shader mod anyways.
Make sure you properly install the shaders and set r2_gloss_factor 0.001 and r2_gloss_min 0.5.
"GreenFoliage" Use this if the foliage and grass you are using is mostly green. This is also what you should use if you dont have any texture mods at all
"Autumn" Use this preset if you have orange/ dark green/ dead foliage mods
4: Adjust your ingame "basic light settings" (gamma, saturation, and brightness)
Gamma: All presets need to be used with a gamma setting of 1
Saturation: Greenfoliage needs AT LEAST to be set at 1. PBR and Autumn should be set from at least .8 all the way up to 1.1
Brightness: Bare minimum for all should be 1.1 or no more than 1.4
^These settings can all be adjusted to your taste, these are just my reccomendations and what I used to calibrate everything
5: Optional Adjustments
R2_sun_lumscale can either be increased or decreased if daytime is too bright although I belive a good balance is achieved with 1.75-2
PPX Bloom effect can be either switched on or off if things are too bright (especially building exteriors in daytime)
DELC and Lumasharpen can also be turned off/ tuned to your taste if things seem too artificially sharp
Curves can also be altered to make the contrast to your liking if some things (mostly shadows) seem too unrealisticly bright/dark
RTGI can also used to make the image better but the performance decrease is usually not worth it.
RTGI settings:
GI Render resolution: 0.5 (or more if you wanna dab on Potato PC users like me)
Ray length: 5
Ray amount: 5 minimum unless you want image noise
Ray Step Amount: 10
Z thickness 0.50
Ambient Occlusion: 0, or whatever you like but all it will really do is darken your image where you don't need it to be any darker
Bounce lighting: 1.5
Next bounce weight: 2
Fade out start: The higher the better, up to you.
Fade out end: 0
Mess around, add other effects, do whatever works best for you!

why is the game menu 480p?
I can barely read anything on screen.
sorry, forgot to turn off depth of field effect. just turn turn it of in reshade
How do I make it less blue and blurry?
Blue and blurry in the main menu? I can't do anything about the blue. it looks normal in-game. The blur is an effect that I forgot to turn off while I was recording videos. To turn it off untick LightDoFNear in reshade. Also make sure you are not using any other kind of color grading mods. if you have Enhanced Shaders and Color Grading you need to uninstall the color grading part.
Another problem could be if you are playing in a very low resolution. I recommend at least playing in 1080p.
Also I just remembered that you could turn off CA (Chromatic abberation) as that may make some things too blurry too

Sorry TYGRE but I think this error isn't caused by reshade. The only thing I can suggest is making sure you are playing on DX11 and checking your mods
Actually looks really good. The blue is more noticeable in the menu and during winter, but it still is an improvement, unlike RAW which is just blue tint always.
Thanks, I'm looking for suggestions for improvement. I can't do anything about the menus being blue but maybe you could link pictures of everything looking blue in-game? Maybe I could do something about that.
I also guess I wasn't clear enough in description but this preset was not made for snow/winter mods or anything that alters the color grading drastically. Maybe I could work on a version for Project Inverno.
It still looks really good with winter though Imgur.com
Does it affect FPS too much?
