2 Companion mods, Berdly and Noelle, from Deltarune Chapter 2, along with an optional radio "weapon" that lets the player warp them to their location at any time. Both have a varied range of attacks that are performed when near an enemy along with minor idle animations and quotes that can happen when not doing anything else near the player.
More information and credits are in the zip alongside the 3 mods. Requires GZDoom to run, and was tested on version 4.4.2 with default compatibility flags.

Changes:
Minor "waking up after posting file at midnight" update to 1.1 that fixes issues that would cause the game to crash when played with custom weapon/character mods. And now actually uploaded that version instead of the one that said it had it but still used the old 1.0 files. Second 1.2 update changes most lines to be spoken with the dialogue appearing above their heads, along with reducing idle timers for idle animations/lines along with fixing issues with them not facing the player when idle as well as minor scaling of sprites. Stance changes are still shown via the console in the top left along with the floating head above the character changing to reflect the current state. Some additional info on some of Noelle's obtuse attacks were added to the readme+credits file. 1.2.1 minor update, renamed some of Berdly's sprites due to naming conflicts with other mods. 1.2.2 update, fixed companions looking at voodoo dolls, some sprite misalignments with one of Noelle's idle animations, Berdly picking only one of his idle moves, and smoothed out animations when companions are catching up.
1.2.3 update, fixed targeting issues with both companions when seeing enemies in large maps, added in two idle "conversations" and one actual combination attack. Added minor homing to Noelle's spreadshot snowflakes to decrease missing and "wasting" those attacks at long ranges. Increased looking and attacking range for both characters and increased minimum distance before they would automatically warp to the player. Using the WLKT when they're in a combination attack or chat may cause visual desync during their attack/chat but otherwise shouldn't cause issues. Minor update to 1.2.3, 1.2.3.1 that fixes issues with replacing a player proximity check with a look that caused companions to lose track of player in tight corridors. 1.2.3.2 update that fixed issues where Noelle could not find dead players and go into the appropriate states, updated WLKT to be able to teleport Susie and Ralsei, mapped to Zoom and Reload respectively in the controls. If using either, you need to load the WLKT after them or they will not show up. 1.2.3.2.1 update, tightened up some of the code surrounding one of Noelle's bigger attacks, fixed issues with multiple Berdlies/Berdly Lines spawning. If you want/need Berdly to be removed from the map permanently, you'll need to type "remove BerdPresence" in the console.
1.3 update, added in more idle animations and idle combo animations, along with tweaking the follow code and some other minor visual and audio effects. 1.3.1 minor update, fixed an issue where Berdly would still attack when set to passive follow and constantly warping around the player when the latter was at low health. 1.3.2 minor update, hopefully fixed some issues with Noelle repeating idle lines along other minor code fixes. 1.3.3 update, fixed a glitch where Noelle would stop and repeat part of the max LVL script indefinitely, along with some other minor issues and tweaks to attack statistics.
Ah yes, a companion mod. I love companion mods. I hope this one doesn't have any "secret" animations of them doing very "sussy" ****. *wink wink* *nudge nudge*
Oh, they only say things on the top, that's a bummer. I wonder if you could like add the text above their characters like what "itsmeveronica" did with her Deltarune chapter 1 companion mod?

I enjoy using this addon along with "itsmeveronica" Ralsei and Susie addons, and really my only issues is like DeadLotus said, it'd probably be better to add the text above their characters but I'd also suggest maybe making their sprites more up to scale with the player?

One more issue I've noticed is that some sprites such as pickup or impact sprites are often replaced with a sprite of Berdly when using custom gamneplay mods. I'd also recommend future updates for Berdly to have more varied lines when standing idle, if it hasn't already been implemented.
The sprite replacements are due to files using 4 characters to identify them, if you let me know which game mods you used I can go in and see which ones share the names and change them in Berdly's files.
I remember noticing these issues with HXRTC Project and Bloom v1.666. I think some of the health pickups and bullet impact sprites.

Good initiative, but would be better if they actually followed you and give them an aesthetic closer to Itsmeveronica's Ralsei and Susie.

If you're looking for future suggestions, I could also suggest maybe having Noelle and Berdly have idle animations that interact with each other when the mods are paired together.
One last suggestion if it isn't already implemented would be reactions to your character's death and resurrection. I remember dying just to see what would happen but they seemed to not react at all.
They both had them since the first update, I think, but there was some issues where they couldn't find dead players. There'll still be issues where they won't be visible if the player dies in a very small room or at an awkward angle, but it should be mostly working otherwise.
Is the WKLT compatible with other mods?
No, since it looks for the names of characters to warp. I just added in functionality for itsmeveronica's companions, Susie on Zoom, and Ralsei on reload, but there's an issue where if the WLKT is loaded before them they won't show up. If you're using ZDL or custom shortcuts you'll want the WLKT to show up below or right of the companions.
BTW, one last question I have is very spoiler heavy is that when Noelle has a particular attack on Berdly that either can have him disappear or if you interact with him in time, he'll come back. Does he just flat out disappear for an entire level and come back or once it happens, Berdly just disappears entirely?
If Berdly is subjected to friendly fire by a certain attack, there's a short timer that brings him back after it's up.
I'm just asking since I played this with the final release of Bloom and in the beginning of the last level, he just straight didn't appear for the rest of it when struck by friendly fire.
It seems to be an issue with the certain attack not spawning the timer that brings him back. I've updated the mod with a bunch more checks that should stop that from not happening, and added a ticker that brings him back and displays a message in the console if all those other checks fail, as well as deleting any excess Berdlys.

I had a weird issue where Noelle repeated two idle lines over and over on the last map of Project Uber.
I've checked the map you mentioned and it shouldn't be a compatibility issue with that; idle lines are picked at random so that might not be a bug and just bad luck, unless she was constantly saying them without a delay.
I'm pretty sure they were saying these idle lines without delay.
I haven't been able to reproduce it, but I've put in some more checks that should stop it from happening, along with some other minor fixes for both companions, and updating the mod in a bit with them.
Why when sometimes Noelle levels up, it says "the last leaf of fall has touched the ground."
And also why does Noelle says "I don't think anything can stop me. Not even you."? Is talking to us or to the enemy?
Talking to the player; certain LVL ups give flavor text that appear in the console.
Kinda weird how she talks to us like that. It sounds like a threat that would be followed by a suprise attack.
Oh. I also got a weird glitch (?) Where Noelle constantly repeats "Not even you." At first, I tought she would attack me, but she just stands there. repeating the same phrase over and over...
I've did a bit of checking and it was an EXP overflow issue where she had the EXP to level up but already hit the level cap, so she kept doing part of the LVL 10 quote. I think I've managed to fix that and some other minor issues and am uploading the fixed versions now.

Mild bug: when loading with Hideous Destructor, you have to manually "spawn Berdly" and "spawn Noelle" in the console to get them in, no idea why.
I don't understand anything, how the hell do I play this mod?
