This is the Smol Fix. Find your Dawn of War 2 Retribution Folder and place the contents of the folder, specifically the files "fmodex.dll" and "shark.dll" into your Dawn of War 2 Retribution folder.
This is the Smol Fix download, a file addon that reduces instances of sound bugs occuring. We usually combine this with FPS capping to reduce the amount of crashes which frequently occur in the base game. Luckily these collective fixes have made the game playable with many players reporting zero or near zero crashes in game.

Find your Dawn of War 2 Retribution Folder and place the contents of the folder, specifically the files "fmodex.dll" and "shark.dll" into your Dawn of War 2 Retribution folder.
This replaces the existing versions of these files with updated and improved versions.
The install path/location of your Dawn of War 2 Retribution folder will be where you directed any installers to download Elite Mod or any other mods.
The attached readme goes into more depth about how the files work and what they are.
Thanks to Maximumgame and Nah for providing these to us, Elite Mod has put many hours into trying to find a solution, and we were lucky to stumble upon some incredibly knowledgeable people.

Typical install path if the game is installed on the C: disk. If your game is installed on another disk/drive, make sure to put the fixes in the appropriate folders!
