A pack that either improves upon on or out right changes mutant audio across the board.
Greetings Stalkers I now present the second pack of audio from the Dark signal mod that focuses on the Mutants of the zone, the mod it self is straight forward and to the point, the pack adds a whole host of new audio for just about every mutant in the zone, some received new layers and additions while some mutants have completely new audio from the ground up. I had created this for Dark signal a while back and it proved to be a large challenge as I had never done monster audio before during my time. I have tried to give every creature more unique and unsettling audio to go along with them.

Installing
A much for straight forward process then the gun audio simply extract the file into your MO 2 mod list and ensure it is at the bottom, if manually installing make sure to take the gamedata folder inside of the rar and drop it into your anomaly install location and that should be it, no need of conflict with files as this simply swaps out audio files.
I hope you enjoy them took a long time to create this and I hope it brings something refreshing to the zone.
Stay tuned for more audio packs coming soon for Weather, UI, Foot steps, Exo suits and more.
If'd you'd like to support the work I do.

Every little bit helps me in more ways then I can tell during this difficult time.
Well, I have already seen the last work and you have sunk into my soul. I don't have time to put it on yet, but I want to ask. I will still be able to quickly identify mutants by sounds (this is very important, because they notice you faster)
I did try to ensure the mutants are distinct enough from one another as best as possible, They should sound different but over time one should be able to tell what is what.
I don't really know what i should write here. But, thanks, really.
As long as you tried it It's fine by me
Thank you! This is fantastic! I already scalped these monster sounds from your mod pack into my custom game but love having this packaged up by you so nice! Thanks again!
Another thing I do is copy all your anomaly sounds and euginium anomaly sounds from DAO as I think your mastering of those sounds is the best. Perhaps you can come out with an Anomaly soundpack as well?
I will be releasing the anomaly sounds as well fairly soon, the sound packs will be stand alone's and can be mixed and matched with what ever those chose to be.
noticed that there is at least 2 files that might be duplicates / wrongly named:
- chimera_attack_hit_10
- chimera_attack_hit_22
they seems to be same files as 1 and 2. so maybe they are just extra copy with diff name(?)
Yea there might be a duplicate here and there I might of forgotten to clear out.
Fantastic work, but was wondering if you'll ever touch dynamic mutants?
BTW a short video would be excellent to showcase the differences.
Probably not as they use the same audio as the stock ones and seem coded that way.
Where did you get Sound recordings from my mother-in-law?
Is the controller sound still the HIV inducing tinnitus/ringing? If so pls for the love of god use something else - people have reported actual hearing damage from this when using headphones or certain setups.. (Hearing damage cannot be undone)
Possible suggestion is a soundfile im using instead thats just a creepy gibberish talking type sound they make, reused: Drive.google.com
I did make slight changes to it with additional layers so I don't know if it would still cause the same issues.
Moddb.com
You can use this, but imo something similar should be included in this pack
A mod that removes the ambient music to only have the combat music would be perfect, I hope I make myself understand
I support this request.
I'm not 100% sure but i think Tactical Music Extended does exactly that.

Any showcase video @Shr¡ke ? Thanks in advance!
Is this compatible with Soundscape?
yes
Good update, much needed
My only critique is that the mutant audio tends to be quieter than vanilla. I think each sound could use its volume raised by roughly 30% in the ogg comments. I found it difficult to identify mutants at the usual distances that I could before.
A lot of these are very good upgrades from the vanilla ones. However, I liked how the Chimera pouncing sound in Vanilla started at high volume instantly to make it more "jumpscary" and I would like to keep that sound in particular. Would deleting the relevant files of your mod manually still make it work? Or would it break something?
This is great work you should pack all the dark signal sound mod into one installer pack collection
