Exactly what the title says. Custom text/quit messages for FreeDoom. It's been a while, but V4 is out!
This MOD is intended for FreeDoom, and adds new text messages, new quit messages, and now new messages for ZDoom/ZDoom related ports.
WHAT'S NEW IN VERSION 4:
It's been a while, but Custom Text for FreeDoom is back in action!
-The following lines from fdzan.wad were removed, either because there was no
need for it or I didn't know what to put for it:
-D_DEVSTR
-D_CDROM
-Lots of new text was added in fdzan.wad
-Some of the text on the text screens were fixed.
-QUITMSG11 changed.
-Minor text changes.
Wonder when the next version of Freedoom will be released. This looks really good by the way!
Is it okay if we incorporate the quit messages into Freedoom itself as an official thing?
Sure thing. I'm not supporting this mod anymore, though, so feel free to edit them.
Thanks. I should point out that I went a bit further & also edited the options menu stuff that mentions proprietary IWAD stuff so it mentions the free equivalents.
