After downloading and trying out the Atmospheric Radio (Russian Classic Edition) Mod for Anomaly, I was left feeling that the mod was missing quite a lot of tracks and Included too many heavy songs for my liking.
This mod adds an additional 20-30 tracks for both Radiostations (with some In English) that will hopefully help with Immersion and keep your spirit high while traveling the Zone. ZoneFM focuses more on Russian classics from 1980 to the present while CHPR FM focuses on Russian classics as well as a few English hits.
I may also update the mod In the future, adding more tracks.
Great addon, I like your music selection better, but one big issue: Since I enabled this addon, radio music will start playing at max volume regardless of whether I have my radio on or not, so I can't turn it off. If I turn on my radio, it just adds another layer of the same music and it starts to echo. The bugged music sometimes fades out, or goes away, but it usually comes back after I load a save file. Pretty weird, no way I can find to get rid of it. On RC18 btw.
Got the same issue, but without this mod.
I've just made my own selection of music (replaced base game files) and now it plays on random.
I'm on RC18 too.
Idk what causing this :(
Upon loading up a save I have also just run Into the same problem. I am unsure why or If It's something to do with RC18. I will look Into It and figure out why and then see about fixing it.
I've just done some testing, and have prepared a new version that hopefully should not have as many problems as the number of tracks has been reduced on both radio stations to twenty. It may be that there are too many files for It to process but that does not really make sense to me as It will usually run fine and go through all of them. On my current save I am having no problems but I have had several problems on another save. I will release the new version shortly.
I tried it again and it doesn't seem to have the same issues, however sometimes a similar bug will occur when I hear a loop of the sounds you hear when you're near a burer, which won't go away until i restart the game. It's strange. Thanks for the fixes so far
That's really weird. It must be a problem on RC-18's end. You might have to wait for a fix or just uninstall It for the time being. I have found It to be quite manageable In places where there are no Ingame radios, like Jupiter and Zaton and the Outskirts/Pripyat.
It's too ******* loud! I nearly went deaf in Sidorovich's bunker! Even tried to shoot the radio.
i like your music taste however the random playing of music is annoying and some of the music is too loud so i will be uninstalling until it is fixed
Yes, I apologize to everyone for this bug. It is something to do with Anomaly itself. I tried reducing the radio load to 20 songs each but this still did not work. Unfortunately it is not on behalf of the mod.
