cs_Truth was created at some point when Ritual Entertainment was developing the early stages of Condition Zero. The hostage rescue scenario was probably inspired from the Deleted Scenes mission. In fact, it is likely that this map was manipulated into its current bomb defusal iteration. An explanation regarding the change in game mode is still unavailable.
