This is v1.1 of my SP 'corpse stay' mod, meaning AI that die leave 'permanent' corpses! Currently only supports Allied Assault.

This is a SP corpses stay mod, meaning AI that die leave 'permanent' corpses!
**NOTE**: Please note that this mod changes some default files. You will need to merge any changes if you have mods that conflict with this one. Change are commented with 'crpsty' in the files.
// INSTALLATION:
For Allied Assault: Put the zzz_CorpseStayAA_SP.pk3 file inside your mohaa/main directory.
For Spearhead: NOT SUPPORTED YET
For Breakthrough: NOT SUPPORTED YET
Example config:
seta crpsty_sp_corpses "50"
seta crpsty_sp_debug "0"

// CONFIG - you can input these commands into the console when you load up a level

crpsty_sp_corpses - is the number of corpses allowed at any given time (use wisely).
Minimum of 5 corpses
Maximum of 100 corpses
Default is 30 corpses
crpsty_sp_debug - is whether or not to print debug messages to the console
If you DON'T want debug messages, use 0
If you DO want debug messages, use 1
You can change these cvars at any point during the map.
Changes to crpsty_sp_corpses will kick in as soon as any AI dies again.

crpsty_sp_corpses has a maximum of 100 as we don't want
to flood the game with too many entities.
It is more than enough though. You will rarely hit 100 corpses.
Keep an eye on your fps. If it gets too low on some missions, just decrease crpsty_sp_corpses

When a mission game is like a battle in the bocage mission. The first level: I killed everyone in the house. After that, I killed the enemies. They fell behind the house and when you killed the enemies from the nations of the house. Dead enemies in the home They have all disappeared
That's why you need to read the description (or README). See section about config: crpsty_sp_corpses
The mod is working. But there is something, the bodies last but not last long

This mod seems to have an audio glitch when paired with other SP mods (like Surgical Operation and Genuine Experience etc.) I don't know if it's the other mods conflicting or this mod itself, but whenever I kill Germans in an area in which many spawn, buggy voices of still dead Germans will continue to play despite the Germans being dead (it doesn't happen when this mod is not installed).
Yeah, it could be a conflict, or it could be a bug with my mod. Not sure. Does this mod have that issue without other mods installed?
Hey just wanted to report that I noticed that too, and I don't have other mods installed. Hard to pinpoint what causes that as it's rather rare, but does seem to be something from mod

Also, is there a way in the config to increase the model detail on corpses and other things? It's just so they look less blocky when viewing at long distance.

The 'blocky' look is due to the aggressive LoD the game has. You can turn that off with a renderer command - try r_uselod 0 in the console and it should improve most models.
Any word on the expansions? Also what about pacific assault?

They've been online since we've asked and replied to other comments since we posted ours so idk why they cant just give us an answer even if its they cant do a version for Pacific Assault, lmao cant stand people like that
I love this mod. Is it possible for it to work for weapons and headgear too? Currently weapons disappear quickly too, and if you shoot off enemy's helmet or hat it falls to ground and disappears almost instantly, after few seconds. Any hope for that in the future?
You can lengthen the time it takes for weapons to disappear with a console variable. in console change g_droppeditemlife to the number of seconds you want. e.g. g_droppeditemlife 9000. The default is 30.
Helmets are potentially possible to add, but it's just adding more entities to a level which can be a problem. This is why you need to be careful with weapons too.
BTW I found what triggers the "dead voices" bug. It happens when you kill enemies with a grenade, or throw grenade in vicinity of dead body. Somehow this dead body still reacts to a grenade being thrown, and starts a constant loop of playing sounds of grenade warning screams ("achtung, granate!", "in deckung!" etc etc) that never stops
Why dead soldiers smiling? Can you fix that bug?
Also is there a real console command that makes corpses infinite?
