My updated addon that changes weapon sounds from Brutal Doom to sounds from Contra NES game, with music as a bonus.
Hi everyone! So here is my second addon for Brutal Doom. This addon changes all weapon sounds from Brutal Doom to sounds of weapons from Contra 1 and Contra 2 games, which was developed by Konami and released for Nintendo Entertainment System back in 90s. Also i changed music of first Knee-Deep in the Dead spisode to music from those two first Contra games. So yeah, that is all what i wanted to say. Enjoy! :)
ATTENTION: This addon works only with Brutal Doom v21 Gold!
How to install and use:
1. Download addon and unpack it in to your Brutal Doom folder.
2. Create a txt file with any name in that folder and open in with any text editor.
3. In that txt file write these lines:
For Zandronum: zandronum.exe -file "brutalv21.pk3" "Contra Music.wad" "Contra Weapon sounds.wad"
For GZDoom: gzdoom.exe -file brutalv21.pk3" "Contra Music.wad" "Contra Weapon sounds.wad"
And then save all changes.
4. Rename your txt file from TXT format in to BAT format and launch it to play the game with these two addons.

So this only works when playing with the original DOOM? I wonder if you can make this soundtrack compatible with DOOM 2, it would be wonderful.
just with brutal doom v21
It's a bit of shame that this can only work when playing BD v21 with original DOOM iwad and cannot play on DOOM 2.
My apologies in the previous comment.. I misunderstood, if it works for me with doom 1 and doom 2. surely you have loaded the mod wrong.. I think because it is not complicated and as for the soundtrack there is a similar one with a mod called "Contra-Doom" but that the author makes another similar soundtrack is something else dude. my apologies.. don't worry with the iwad of doom 1 and doom 2 works! :)
