Adds compiled versions of the Clear Sky combat tracks into the game.
Fairly simple mod that adds the 4 combat tracks from S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Clear Sky into Anomaly.
This was a lot more annoying and time consuming to make because Clear Sky, being more focused on combat than the other games, has a far more intricate and complex system for its music than CoP/Anomaly does, splitting each of its three themes (excluding a strange fourth that only uses and intro and main body) into 10-15 tracks, each of which plays when you begin the fight, when you're winning, losing, or either sides are idle, etc.
However, Anomaly obviously uses the arguably inferior CoP system of only have 3 smaller tracks for each theme, so, i had to stitch together the various small tracks into three somewhat coherent tracks for each theme, like is CoP.
This will NOT play nearly as interestingly as it does in Clear Sky, behaving more like Call of Pripyat's.
Still better than nothing, as i found myself severely missing the CS tracks from Anomaly. I prefer the CS music to CoP.
Because it acts identical to CoP's music (and therefor Anomaly's) it should work on all Anomaly versions.
The second theme here is the strange fourth theme from CS which consists of only two tracks, one small intro track and a main body track that's twice as long. In order to make the three required tracks for it to work according to CoP's system, i split the long one in half. It sounds a little strange but works fine.
Just copy and paste it into your Anomaly root folder.
Hello
game freezes. In logs "! Invalid ogg-comment version, file: d:/games/anomaly\gamedata\sounds\music\combat\theme1_part_1.ogg"
Which game version are you using? And when does it crash? When you start it up or get into a fight? I would assume this would work with any version but i made it in 1.5.1 so i'm not sure.
Also, do you have a file in gamedata/scripts called xrs_dyn_music? If so you should delete that. It could be another mod conflicting and changing the files that should be played.
Version 1.5.1.
As I understand it, the crash occurs after changing the composition during the battle, but not always.
no file "xrs_dyn_music".
I will test. thanks for the answer.
Unfortunately after testing this just now it works fine for me, i got into a fight in Cordon by shooting some loners and the track looped twice with no issue. I am also running 1.5.1.
I recommend you try re-installing the mod from a fresh download, that's all i can think of.
I seem to recall this happening to me before a year ago when i first tried to mod in my own music but i don't remember what fixed it.
Do you have four themes, each with three parts, for a total of 12 files in your gamedata/sounds/music/combat?
