Adds an ability to create campfire wherever you want.
Description
Adding firewood which you can buy from traders and then use from inventory to place a campfire. Placed campfires work as any other normal campfire: it allows you to save game, cook food and whatever else is there ;] That's basically all.
(Default radius of surface check is apparently too high, so change its in MCM to 1 or 1.5)

Should be compatible with everything.

- Chop Wood ability xd You can now chop wood instead of buying it from traders. All you need for it is to have an axe in hands, "Chop wood" option will appear when you right click on an active axe. Once option is clicked you will start gathering wood (more like a simulation of it with black screen and sound), it also degrades your axe and changes game time (both are based on axe tier) and adding hunger/thirst/sleep (based on changed time).

Просто для уточнения ,есть мод, который позволяет восстановить здоровье у костра , я так понимаю, эти костры тоже опираются на Базовые объекты и это будет работать ? Также интересует ,работают ли эти костры с режимом сохранения у костров ?

i tried with debug mode but the function to light the campfire is still in the position of the old campfire and i end up with this lol

You tried with debug what? remove object? Campfires in game are anomalies, there is spawned model and anomaly on top of it, so you need to delete anomaly too.

Game isn't supposed to be played with deleting objects from debug and I didn't consider it while making this addon, tnx.
They both (object and anomaly) get deleted on level transition and you can also turn off this option in MCM.
Almost no addon is compatible with prOvak.
That's not true. Playing it with 2.5 of him and already installed many addons like new HD Models, Dead Zone and whatever and it all works fine.
I'm talking about most add-ons that change core gameplay. Not those that change the look of models or the surrounding. As Provak pack is cramped with all kinds of add-ons thus it's more likely to crash.

oh shiet, but to balanced it the weight should be more than that in my opinion, how about 15kg
I personally play with minimum weight and have 40 max and usually 5 kg free lol. I thought that even 5+ will be too much for majority and it'd be easier to just ignore placeable campfires for them, so I stopped at 4~.
But anyone can open items_campfire.ltx and change weight to 15 if they want ;]

Looks great, wonder if always need to buy wood, and not having it picked for yourself as in talker is in the woods mostly. And have axe.

This is just initial 0.1 version, I'll add more features in the future. Not sure how well the option to find a wood fits stalker... not like it is skyrim or minecraft, but I'll probably add it anyway.
The idea f getting wood minecraft like its somehow implemented in mutant parts, and weapon parts. So far nature has been just made more HD and such, interactivity is limiyed to camouflage.I don't know the limitations of the engine, but thanks.

Is there a way to make deployable sandbags as well?
There are some areas in the zone that are occupied by stalkers, but I think some sandbags would make it more believable that people actually live there.
Should be possible, but you gotta ask someone who make models (coz it wasn't me who made them), this one is and will be strictly campfire addon ;]
Honestly not to bloat ID limit, it's better to just add objects into levels.
The sandbag models already exist in game. I was thinking to place those as not moveable objects on the map.
Maybe if I find it's id, then I can modify the script to make it spawn those. Although I'm guessing I won't be able to rotate it.
Also another question, I saw that after I move to another map, the campfires disappear. Is there a way to make them permanent like the tents for example?

Можешь поставить где удобно и там сохраняться сколько хочешь ;] Костры не исчезают пока локу не покинешь (хотя и исчезновение костров можно в МСМ отключить).

Once you make hand animations for my gas mask filters.
This is an absolute must-have mod for me, being able to make an entire camp anywhere is super useful. Thank you Stalker! A real life saver in the nothern areas if you play with campfire save mode on.
(Wouldn't most wood in the Zone be too radioactive/toxic to just chop down and burn though? I'd take a guess and say it's dependant on the area then? With wood in the Cordon being clean and safe enough compared to the Red Forest for example. That would fit in nicely with your toxic air addon)
