If by adding impaled marines you mean having a chance for a separate actor to spawn, then no. I ain't plannin' to edit code in this addon. I can however replace already existing sprites of impaled zombiemen (?) to make 'em look like Marines, if that's what you want.
As for the health and armor bonuses, my opinion on 'em is the exact oppositive. They looked kinda cartoony before, and I like 'em more now. Thank you for your feedback, though.
Alright then, i think your suggestion by making them look like Marines would be nice (which they did exist before in some earlier builds, not sure why they got removed), maybe same thing for the hanging bodies and its variations, the twitching legless guy,etc, except the ones that have that rotten appearance.
I like this one more better than the one in the game

Maybe add back the impaled marines too?
EDIT:Just tested it out, here's my feedback
The health bonused look too cartoony now, same thing for the armor bonuses.
Shotgun shells look better now, maybe with a bit more polishing would make it even better.
