Nice but I dont have Red Dot on bf3_kh_2002_PKA. I don't try the cobra version yet.
Is a file missing ?
You may add any of your "gui index" in a .tweak file

to set up the Red dot in kh-2002 with PKA\cobra you must write ObjectTemplate.weaponHud.altGuiIndex 53 - this is the number of red dot

To create the Icons for each gun you may try to use Paint.net or Adobe Photoshop
