Simple mod so that all NPCs/stalkers drop better condition weapons and armor upon death.
There are 6 different versions so far if you would like me to make more please just say
To install simply download and extract the gamedata file from the version of your choosing into your STALKER Anomaly directory.
please let me hear your feedback on the new versions and if they are too easy/hard or what I could change
---NEWUPDATE--- Added a version 5 and 6 that makes the game a lot harder, me and some other people felt as if its still pretty easy to get money and good gear early so these versions will leave you more satisfied when you do get good gear/money in your playthroughs, version 5 is harder with the minimum percentages being much lower but the maximum being slightly lower, version 6 is more hardcore because all ranks have the same minimum and much less maximum; check description or readme file in folder for percentages
---NEWUPDATE--- Added a version 4 that tones the condition down roughly 10% - 15% lower than version 3 for people who want more of a challenge as its still pretty easy to get good armor/guns and money at the start of a playthrough

- novice = 30% - 35%
- trainee = 35% - 40%
- experienced = 40% - 45%
- professional = 50% - 55%

- master = 75% - 80%
- legend = 80% - 85%
Version 4 -
- novice = 25% - 30%
- trainee = 30% - 35%
- experienced = 35% - 40%
- professional = 45% - 50%
- veteran = 50% - 55%

- master = 65% - 70%
- legend = 70% - 75%
Version 5 -
- novice = 15% - 20%
- trainee = 20% - 30%

It's great if you are on your 10th play through. Scrounging for rubles can get very old.
I can make a more "hardcore" version if you would like
With version 1 sometimes when i try to loot a corpse it crashes the game.
do you want any logs of some kind?
PS i tried version 2 and it worked then, but i would still want to use version 1

When I extract the rar file its says:
C:\Downloads\Better_Weapon_Outfit_Condition_On_Drop.3.rar: The archive is either in unknown format or damaged
sounds like its a problem on your end and not the mod, maybe the rar folder was downloaded on one drive and it was extracted to a different one?
I assume you are using WINRAR to try and extract the file. The same thing happened to me with this and a few other mods around here. The issue here is that WINRAR is unable to handle this particular compressed file format. The resolution to this problem is to use 7-Zip to open and extract the file.

Once 7-Zip is installed, Right click on the mod file > Go to 7-Zip > then 'Open Archive'.

thank you it never makes sense to me how they shoot at you with a perfectly fine firearm and when you pic it up its like 3% and it jams all the time

I'm using version 1.5, with hotfix 8 and the 1.4 update, with Generic Mod Enabler, version 2.6.0.157.
I'm a big fan of Stalker, and rediscovered the game after so many years. And I keep finding these gems, like Call of Chernobyl before and now, Anomaly and its add-ons. Yours, it helps with the immersion, at least for me. So thanks again!
Can you make a version where the weapons drop at 90-100% durability but the outfits drop at like 10-20% ? This is a lot more realistic in my opinion since you just emptied a magazine in the guy so his armour would be completely destroyed, but the weapon should be in good condition since none is stupid enough to go out into the zone with a weapon that jams all the time.
Seems like exactly what I was looking for. However what were Anomaly's standard values for this? Just for comparison!
pretty sure its between like %0-%5 or %0- for all level of stalkers
Thanks for this mod. I never really understood why a veteran Monolith or Mercenary up in Limansk would drop 10-15% condition armor and weapons.
Thanks for your work with this mod. Added it to a long list of other addons I am running and works perfect. Cheers for adding more versions as version 5 seems to be the sweet spot for me.
Edit: If possible or if enough people want it, see if there could be a wide percentage chance of drop condition version.
For Example:
novice = 10% - 55%
trainee = 10% - 60%
experienced = 10% - 65%
profession = 10% - 70%
veteran = 10% - 75%
expert = 15% - 80%
master = 20% - 80%
legend = 25% - 85%
Copy any folder from the versions, open the folders until we find the file "death_generic.ltx" there. Open the file with Notepad, and change the first (top) 16 values. Opposite them (to the left of them) will indicate the difficulty levels of the game. The values ββare shown not in percent, but in the form of ordinary numbers. Do not thank )
Hi! Got a quick questiom: I did so playing with the MuH Immersion Modpack but the condition of the dropped weapons does not seem to improve. Do I have to Start a new game in order for it to work? Or enter a new Level? Thank you
no you shouldnt need to start a new game, maybe the modpack also does something to the dropped weapons and is overwriting this mod?

i am so tempted to try it on, because nobody is making an addon like this or at least por it to 1.5.1, probably wont work but im desperate, like everything drops with 10% quality or below, cant get **** now
Update: it works! On 1.5.1! I used the version 2 of the mod where everything will drop in between 55% and 96% quality and it works! Omg haha so happy

Hey, KUSH_. Just passing through to say your mod functions fine, at least up until now, with Anomaly version 1.5.1. I also started using MO2.
And what an important mod it is. They took out the damaged ammo (a true shame, making the gunsmithing kit more useless than before) and thrashed all the loot in the game. You can adjust it in the settings, but it doesn't feel right. Even with add-ons like Loot Rebalance, it became near impossible for us that like playing the game on IronMan mode, in the hardest difficulty.
It's un-immersive finding loot so trashed after a battle. In a realistic approach, maybe the gun was shot, or the armor had some hole because of the weapons' fire, but 2% to 10%? In which actual war things like this happens? Vietnam? Desert Storm? Even traders don't buy these weapons without addons or adjusting in the settings, now.
Your addon, even though it facilitates the game, it's actually a more immersive, realistic experience than all the alternatives I'm aware. Some players may not enjoy it because it makes the game easier, but I'm all about immersion. Be it bad or good.

Hey Kush, I installed your mod along with BaS, better starting loadout and a few other mods (I mentioned these two in particular because they affect items). I am using Mod Organizer 2 to install all the mods, the game launches and runs fine, BaS works but your mod doesn't work and neither does the Better starting loadout mod. I have installed your mod after the other 2, so does that create a problem ? because in the load order I have tried giving your mod higher priority but it still doesn't work

i extracted it from 7 zip, i installed version 2 in the gamedata directory
decided to test it on a friendly loner NPC but i only got 10-15% condition when version 2 is 50-55% for Novice atleast
i use 1.5.2
Use mod organizer, dropping mods in gamedata is caveman method.
