Beer contains alcohol, alcohol increases thirst. Mod is not based.
Beer these days is 90% water so I think it's feasible to hydrate from them a bit
Also, alcohol is a diuretic, which, if you don't know and I'm assuming you don't because of your retort, makes you wee. In short, you'll **** out more water than your 90%. Therefore, beer will make you thirstier than if you didn't drink it.
The higher the alcohol content, the higher the negative effect. And this from someone who enjoys a beer now and then.
Science - can't argue with it.
Your "science" is actually only accurate when based on high alcohol content liquors, like whiskey, spirits and vodka, and actual low alcohol content like light wines or beers with 5% or less alcohol have a negligible diuretic effect, meaning that it does, in fact, hydrate you. Maybe not to the same extent as water, but nonetheless beer hydrates. In history people drank fermented wines and beer with at the most 5% alcohol but usually below 3%, and it was hydrating. So your "science" is wrong, unless you are discussing higher alcohol content beverages.
Well, it's not my science. It's just science and belongs to no one in particular, but assuming that the alcohol content of the beer is low, less than your mentioned five percent, then the hydration effect outweighs its diuretic effect. Nowhere near as good as plain old water, but still. I posted a general education post. Most on these boards are ignoramuses.
We don't know what the alcohol content of beer in a video game actually is, it can be anything. It's impossible to say one way or the other - obviously. And in the end it's just a game and ultimately doesn't matter. Having said all this, I need a beer.

As a fella who used to drink almost solely sweet tea, I can say for a fact that tea doesn't dehydrate you, contrarily to what is said.
As for alcohol I can't say with any personal experience. However, I dont think the game should punish you for drinking a beer with your Boar chops.
so the way I like beer in games is like in stoneshard which does clear thirst but you gain it quicker after, so its a refreshing drink but over time it still dehydrates you
От пивка сушит вообще-то, но не сразу и не так сильно(спирта меньше), но сушит. Так то он поначалу может и убавляет, но потом как бы прирост к сушке должен идти через какое-то время.
Всё верно. Так и стоило сделать. Быстрое утоление жажды и частично голода. Но через час обраточка...
Ну как сказать.... если литра 3 хряпнуть, да охоты крепкого - то да, там еще не только сушка будет.
Исходное пиво в игре несет крайне сомнительный функционал, про реализм в моде не написано.
И да, к 31 что-то не заметил что пиво сушит прям так. Видимо не так употребляю. Люди ведь вообще странные, вместо того чтоб пиво минералкой запивать, они к нему рыбу притаскивают, соленых орешков видимо потому, что от пива пить хочется.)
У людей частично вырабатывается желание выпить еще пива т.к. градус не велик и с 1 бутылки 0.5 их только раззадоривает.
В кефире и квасе тоже алкоголь содержится, и что-то никого на водопой не тянет))
Про утоление голода пивом...... ребят мне по испански стыдно.
Стыдно ему. Написано же, потом обраточка... То же касается жажды. С остальным спорить не буду, не вижу смысла. Давно всё доказано.

idk i use it for myself and it works.
so Why this may be...
Something wrong with your dltx instalation (something overwrites .exe)
Or other DLTX mods may still take effect if they include:
![beer]:booster - in that case you need manually change/merge
Or sometimes in last version of MO2 i detect mods that shows enabled, but if you select them and disable - mo says about some stupid install error and you just need reenable them
