Really unexpected! Loved BC2 Vietnam, bought it right when it came out on Xbox 360. Would be really cool to also see the gadgets and vehicles from Vietnam exported over as well. I do plan on making a Vietnam mod too eventually after I get my WW2 and Korean War mods is a more presentable state than they are currently. So this stuff would be put to good use in the future.

if you will start the Vietnam MOD let me know, maybe i can help. I like the Vietnam theme very much.
Only points are, that you should change to a modern engine, like unreal engine or Unity. And what you would do any different than EOD or PR stuff.
Well, it is more simple for me to use the BF2 engine right now for a few reasons. #1 it is the only one I know how to really mod well besides maybe Stalker or GTA games. #2, I am part of the Black Sand Studios modding group, which BFKorea, IDF mod, EOD, BF1944, BGF and PR are all a part of and sister mods. SO we have a lot easier time sharing content with each other than most other mods since we are more of a closer community with each other. So all of my mods will be BF2 based since it is much more convenient for me, and because we have access to tons of great content shared with each other.
Sure, that are really good reasons. And i'm also sure you had theese interal debates about going to more modern engines.
I'm not into the scene, but the sharing aspect is the most valid point. Dunno if arma comuntity has kinda same thing.
You wont get this a twice.
It's just, if one wants better grafics and sounds. If i would be a mayor hacker, i would rip the farcry 5 arcade editor out of farcy and make it a sologame. As far as i heard, one can use all the Ubisoft models in that editor. But i'm clueless.
