Good, the only thing that i dislike, it's the increase of number of pellets for ks-23, but this it's simple to mod-out, and because i'm in a stealth run with ghillie suit, so i don't use loud weapons, like ks-23, so not a problem.
P.s. what about to solve the problem of useless ammo, like fmj .45 acp (not the hydrashock ones) 7.62x25 ps (not pst) and the nearly useless 9x18, at least compared to 9x19?

You can change it in the bas file is just a simple tweak, is for more realism but if you want to tweak is easy as just changing a line in the file

Oh, ok, i read again the description: i was thinking that your mod increase the pellets to 18, not to 8, lol.

no lmfao thats overkill is just a simple tweak, from 6 to 8 from real sources the shrapnel-25 ammo from KS-23 have 8 pellets per buckshot

About .45 acp and 7.62x25, i had no problem with .45 acp i think is pretty much balanced at least for me you can try increasing the damage in game if you like to kill npc in one headshot or i can just tweak it and change it from BR1 to BR2 at the cost of being a bit expensive from traders and about 7.62x25, is an old cartridge from ww2, compared to modern 7x62 that's why the damage is so low and the AP power is bad but i can try tweak the pst ammo and increase it to at least BR3 at the cost of about 300 more roubles

the problem it's not the whole .45 acp, or the whole 7.62x25, but the .45 acp fmj, which, cost apart, it's useless because hydra .45 acp it's far more better for tissue damage, and almost all other calibre fmj are better for ap, than .45 acp (at same tissue damage) e.g. the 9x18 or the 7.62x25, which are Br2, instead of Br1, so why use .45 fmj?
The same goes for 7.62x25 ps. While the pst it's decent against (light armor) have also a boost against mutants, the ps ammos don't have a role.
9x18 itself it's vastly inferior to 9x19, and only good if you use the bizon, taking advantage of it's huge mag.

9x18 AP ammo is not bad though and is not expesive as 9x19 AP and is pretty decent except for the low tissue damage

Nice to see shotguns get some love. Somehow everyone came to the conclusion that shotguns are useless, no idea why or how. There's almost nothing better for turning a boar into hamburger meat!

The conclusion was not that shotguns are useless, rather it was that the basic buckshot ammo that shotguns use was nerfed in Groks ballistics overhaul to the point of being practically useless against any stalker wearing more than a t-shirt.

Grok's nerf was made to prevent buckshot being an early-game ultimate solution to any problem and to create some more pronounced tier system of progression based on ammo availability, but while a good idea in general, it did feel slightly ridiculous to chest/headshot a soldier or a slightly armoured bandit 5-10 times with them still running around.

So this may be that tiny balancing tweak to help alleviate that problem a bit.

even if you have an exoesqueleton any shotgun should make your insides blow up even if the armor stops the pellets the force of the pellets literally kills you

even if you feel shotguns become a bit overpowered you can tweak them on the files from weapons_ammo and w_ammo_bas, just search for "k_ap" and change the number from 0.00 to 0.50 for whatever you like but i feel like i balanced them correctly at least for my side

Ahh, I was referring to vanilla experience myself, shame to see Groks tweak does buckshot so dirty. Id thats fair though! Would feel like playing Shadow of Chernobyl with the vanilla sawn off all over again.

Ok. after i tried 0.10 value on **** ton of bandits.

i think 0.10 is OP. buckshot can kill exo in 3-4 shots at point blank, canter of mass shot.

so i try to adjust it and found sweet spot around 0.05 - 0.06

at this 0.05 value, buckshot can kill light armor target (heavycoat , LCsuit , sunrise) in 3 shots, center of mass. and exo in 7-8

and 0.06 will be fair game. light armor target will down by 2 point blank shots just like the player in the same amount of armor.

hope this help.

Yeah i also feel it a bit too OP since buckshot with 0.10 AP is alot better than normal 9x18 bullet

is a lot of work and is like making a new mod literally, this is just a simple adjust to buckshots and some useless ammo, im not a coder or modder so im not 100% into making addons, also the addon is from grok if you dont like it at all then just play with vanilla armor sistem

is meant to work with gboobs sistem if you tweak the buckshot like this in vanilla they probably gonna turn overpowered as **** 0.06 kills leather jackets in 1-2 shots in close distance and medium armors like berills if you shot to the legs or the head they die in about 3-4 shots

How would one go about increasing pellet counts manualy? (70mm) 2-3/4" 00 buck is commonly available in 12 pellet loads, with (76mm) 3" it can go 15 and up! Not to mention actual flechette loads (although suited for CQB distances ~10yds) have around 20+ darts.. That would sure be a game changer!

i didn't touch homemade buckshot it has BR1 armor penetration but less flesh damage, this is just for normal buckshots

but also overpowered as **** especially because anomaly damage sistem behaves weird especially in shotguns i dont know if the game counts the pellets as "pellets" literally tiny balls of metal or just a normal bullet
