This is a collaboration between Firebreath & Blackgrowl. This mod replaces all the AUGs from vanilla with its different variants with higher quality models, stats and textures tweaked meticulously to match Anomaly's lighting by Blackgrowl! Along with it, I have created new animations that will be shared between these five variants. I hope you will enjoy them as much as I did. CHANGELOG in Second Comment.
The mod was made with FOMOD in mind, it's recommended you use Mod Organizer 2 (MO2). If not, manual:
Simply extract the "gamedata" to your main Anomaly folder.
Look for addons in "addons", extract gamedata from it to your main Anomaly folder.
The AUG A1 uses the "Austrian Army" pattern, which is a yellow-green and has an integrated scope as well as ironsights.
Similar to the AUG A1 itself, but without the integrated scope, it instead has ironsights on a picatinny rail, allowing it to use various scopes and sights. it will be in the classic green color.
the A3 has much better ironsights and that too with tritium illumination. This beautiful model is from New World Interactive. All credits to them!
The Australian version of the aug, which is an improvement upon the F88 and has quite a different, somewhat-futuristic look. This is the rarest and best AUG available, but also the most pricey.
In terms of balance changes, this is a "direct upgrade" to any AUG, but it doesn't offer the tritium sights from the A3, neither does it have amazing reliability. the model was obtained from "IllFonic", all credits to them!
SMG version of the AUG chambered in 9x19 Parabellum. Proper balance changes to make it act like an SMG: Very low vertical recoil but very high horizontal recoil, especially during continuous fire, high fire-rate, low accuracy and best handling. big thanks to Mike J, who baked new maps for it and optimized and assembled it. Cant thank you enough man!
Not compatible with mods that change "w_aug.ltx"
A merge/patch can be done relatively easily though.
- 0.6 HUD FOV. Patch for people that have the hud_fov set to 0.6 or higher. the base mode is made for 0.4.
- AUG 9mm - Black Polymer. Changes the color of the AUG 9mm from green to grayish black.
- AUG 9mm - Cyan Polymer Color (Hitman Contracts style). Changes the color of the AUG 9mm from green to light cyan reminiscent of the AUG 9mm from Hitman Contracts.
- AUG 9mm - AUG 9mm - Flecktarn Camo Texture. Adds a Freedom-style Flecktarn camo pattern to the gun itself.
- AUG A1 New Zealand Scope. Changes the scope from a "doughnut" to the one New Zealand uses, which is a round circle with a full crosshair.
- AUG A3 Green Frame. Changes the AUG A3's color from black to a dull dark green.

Known Issues: ALL KNOWN ISSUES FIXED!
+ For DX8 and DX9 users, the first two 3D sight pictures of the Aug A1 seems to not be rendered, this is not a problem for DX10 or DX11 users though. Have added in 2d scopes to combat this issue
+ Sights are too close while aiming in: This is due to a file in EFT Repos, go to EFTRepose>gamedata>configs>items>hud_fov_values>fov_vanilla.ltx
and comment out the values referencing the augs
it is now fixed by including that file inside this addon by default
I don't recall the AUG A1 having this issue with static lighting on pre-release version, maybe it will be fine for me. . .

hey, just a note - adjustable scope view addon is a godsend - you can adjust scope fov distance to weapon types and individual guns on the fly. Highly recommended.

I ran into a small bug - the 9mm AUG does not play any shooting sound for me. I am using the pack with the JSRS patch.
Thank you man, but I tried the jsrs patch on my end and it seams to work fine, can you tell me what all addons you have?
I am using Blindside's with AWAR DLTXified (from the Mini Modpack) + their respective JSRS patches.
The console throws this error:

literally it has nothing to do with this mod
hmm i think one of the jsrs patches removes the wpn_pp2000_snd_shoot_actor, wpn_smg9_snd_silenced and wpn_smg9_snd_silenced_actor since that is whats used for the aug 9mm's sounds

*edit* Solved it. Turns out I did some fuckery, the weapons_sounds.ltx was overwritten by a vanilla one. Now everything works as it should. Kudos, I got a new favorite SMG!

Great mod, made me want to shoot AUGs again, but i'm getting this crash:

I think you are using the aug a3 from Vanilla, since the aug a3 in the mod wasnt able to use the grenade launcher. the aug a3 in vanilla is also removed from all spawns, search for wpn_aug_modern in the debug menu.
It was a conflict with AUG A3 Reenabler from the DLTX Mini Modpack. I edited it and now it's fine. Loving the new models, thank you!

Oh, I would suggest disabling the AUG A3 from the DLTX Minimodpack addon since that just adds the vanilla aug a3

Sadly, my AUG dropped to 0 durability when i opened my stash to pick it up, and it wiehed like 94 kilos for some reason LOL. But no worries, I can fix it.
Ok I was analyzing what the hell had happened, my gun had 7680 old bullets in it, wtf?
whoah, I dunno why that happened but maybe its because the configs were changed a bit, what aug did you have before the mod? was it aug_freedom?
It's the common AUG variant, green color , 5.56, with the fixed scope. I fixed the gun and it works perfectly. Now I have around 8000 old 5.56 HP rounds lmaooo.
The gun was full of ammo when I stashed it, maybe that caused the bug? Your files didn't overwrite anything else in my modlist.
