Description
This addon replaces the annoyingly long smoking animations of FDDA by much shorter and better ones. It also has much better smoke particles and better sounds. New sounds have been recorded exclusively for this animation.

You guys are insulting the guy not realizing you're the idiots. I'm pretty sure he meant longer than the original animation. Why would he want that I don't know, immersion or something.
honestly even though the animation quality is slightly better than the original the only part about it that makes it useful is that it lets you cancle the animation by opening your inventory so youre not sitting there for 20+ seconds holding your peenus while the animation finishes. if it werent for that id just use the original animations because you cant use this with the weed animation addon. granted you almost never come across weed and its in game effects are no where near as commonly needed as a general rad item like cigarettes. tbh someone should make weed give both a slight psy resist and reduce rads.
I feel like the cigarettes are more of a "use at the campfire" sort of thing rather than an "oh **** I'm way too irradiated" sort of item. The pair best with eating some irradiated food and smoking/drinking to get your rads back down.

Some people like to smoke for immersion or roleplay after a tough firefight or something. Its not that crazy to think someone would want this clearly high quality animation without giving up their chill cigarette rp time.

could do, but theres like no immersion then because you just flick away 3 different cigs instead of just inhaling one 3 times. Just feels stupid tbh

Use modded exe from FDDA
I was trying to get modded exe from FDDA to make 2D Shader Based Scopes work but I really don't know how to. I would really appriciate it if you can help me out with it. Thank you for your time.
I know its not possible but it would be nice if it has that paper foil that cover most of the cigarette, this way it wouldnt be annoying to see those cigerrates even though you only have 1 left in your inventory.

Quite a high quality mod, love the style character takes the puff. However can you make a MCM toggle option for the mod as sometimes I feel like the longer animation is more suitable around a campfire/watching a sunset whilst relaxing. [Or maybe make similar longer animations]. Also is it applicable to all brands of cigarette? All in all, 10/10 mod from me.
Ah yes, toggling an mcm option each time you wanna have a longer smoke is far more immersive than just using the original lol
And I think you find taking two super fast puffs very realistic as well huh? Its just a bit awkwardly fast for my taste.

Sure, the original is more realistic but that makes cigarettes a waste of time to use lol, not everyone is "sitting at the campfire" for 10 minutes each time they need to get rid of some radiation.
Yeah I guess that's fair, but chugging some vodka or beer (with beer is beer mod) is effective as well. I mean I don't know how effective those fast puffs would be realistically, but then again neither cig or vodka reduce radiation irl lol. So it's just personal preference.

I was wondering why FDDA cigarette animation visibly and audibly uses a lighter to light up a cigar when the game clearly says it requires a matchbox to light it up...
