Improved Anomaly Fonts for 1440p with properly rescaled text and support for every DX version.
Introduction:
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly Fonts for 1440p by pr0statitis is a great mod and very needed by community, but it have small flaw. Either by design or by mistake all fonts are upscaled x1.5 while they should be scaled x1.33 (1440p is approximately 1.33 of 1080p) to retain original hud-text ratio. This makes fonts bigger than Anomaly devs intended and may result in some text misalignments or taking too much screen space.
I followed pr0statitis workflow and rescaled fonts to better fit 1440p resolution. Although I left main menu font bigger (x1.5) as it still fits very well.
Description:
This mod replaces fonts textures and their ini files to better fit 1440p resolution.
What have been done:
- Font textures upscaled by x1.33 factor and corresponding inis adjusted accordingly.
- Textures saved in “power of 2” sizes to make them work on DX8 and DX9.
- Main menu retained x1.5 size because it still fits hud very well.
- Parts condition font is now bigger than in 1080p.
- Tested on 1.5.1 and 1.5.2 but should work on every Anomaly version.
Known issues:
- Fonts are less sharp than vanilla, side effect after upscaling.
- Only English and Russian languages are currently supported.
- Probably works only on 16:9 resolutions.
Comparisons:
See how this mod compares to vanilla 1440p, vanilla 1080 and pr0statitis 1440p fonts. You can choose which images you want to compare using dropdown menu, this mod is labelled as "Better fonts for 1440p". I highly recommend watching it in fullscreen to get the idea how it looks in game.

Requirements:

Installation:
I highly recommend installing any mods with Mod Organizer 2.
But if you want to install manually simply unpack gamedata form the zip and put in stalker directory.
If you have original 1440p fonts installed you can just overwrite it with my mod (both mods change the same files).

Looks great, but is there a similar mod to increase fonts in 1080p?
If you want to increase font size for 1080p you can try this mod, text will be 33% bigger but may be some misalignments.

I was using pr0statitis's version but it was indeed a little too big (eg: highlighting the health in the inventory will have its tooltip cropped off at the top). But I recall him mentioning that he had poor eyesight, so that is understandable. I had to use NVidia's DSR to push the game's resolution to 1 step above 1440p to circumvent the problem, sacrificing a little bit of framerate, though nothing too drastic.
But this version is just perfect for 1440p and lets me get my normal framerate back :)
