This addon allows Anomaly's HD models addon to be used in CotZ. I made none of this. Just to be clear.
UPDATE v1.2: Unsmurfed Librarian
I corrected Librarian, the Clear Sky barman. He's no longer blue.

UPDATE v1.1: No HD inventory icons for us :(
Raito updated the Anomaly HD Models with, among other things, HD inventory icons for his models. Sadly, we can't use those and they break our inventory. So I had to patch them out.
Also I noticed Librarian is blue (again?). I'm not sure how to fix him. Personally, I don't really mind. He looks more interesting this way.

v1.0:
Raito-x-Ray compiled a wonderful HD models pack for Anomaly. Ekkaia! compiled a huge Enhancement pack for CotZ which featured these models. attackzone974 (the most accomplished of all attackzones, if you ask me) fixed a few issues and incorporated unused models as NPC variations.
And all was right in the world. But then, there appeared to be issues with the port. Oh noes! And the HD models and their configs were buried in a nearly 7GB archive! NOES, I tell you.
So, I went ahead and corrected that one crash. And I merged attackzone974's contributions in my fix. That's all I did. I just want people to have an as simple and straightforward possible way to install the HD models, because they are quite nice.
All kudos to the people above. Give them some love.
!! IMPORTANT NOTICE !!
Everybody knows this, but it bears repeating: the HD models addon is heavy on resources. HEH VEE. Your game will still crash due to memory issues, because realistically this addon is just too much for the engine to cope with. Crashes will happen. Know what you're getting into. Save often.
!! END OF NOTICE !!
To the installation! I will only describe a manual installation, because that is just how I roll.
Step the first:
Download the Anomaly HD models addon from this page:
Moddb.com
Step 2:
Extract the archive into an empty folder. You should have a gamedata folder there now. Inside that gamedata folder, there are three folders: configs, meshes, and textures.
Delete the configs folder. It's all miserable Anomaly nonsense that CotZ simply cannot compute.
Delete the ui folder inside the textures folder.
Step III:
Move or copy that gamedata folder into your CotZ folder.
Step four:
Extract my addon into your CotZ folder.
Step Vee:
That's all. Start a new game already.
I'm using this with AO3 and THAP for AO3. Seems to work fine. I've not looked into using the HD models with vanilla CotZ THAP or no THAP at all, though. And I haven't tried the HD Model-specific THAP addon from Anomaly, because I expect that to break all the things.
If the game crashes, start with "-no_staging" option. With that, forgot the memory errors.
Sorry for not having free time for update the pack.
No need to apologize, man. Thanks for the tip, I forgot to put that in the description.
In testing, I just noticed Clear Sky's Librarian is a Smurf in my game. What the heck. If anyone has a fix for this, please let me know so I can update the addon. Thanks!
EDIT: thought it was fixed, but something in this patch probably breaks it. Smurf Librarian is back.
EDIT2: refixed it.
