Description

*slaps roof* This puppy here changes the way certain factions react to eachother. This addon should be in no way, shape or form considered as "improved" or "better". I've made this to take a shot at modifying faction relations in a unique way.

Might be a dumb question, but can i use this with the Dynamic faction relationship turned on?
Or are those relationships static?

i only changed the static relations values
so if you turn on dynamic faction relationship it would work like in vanilla

Fair enough.
Another thing: Isn't Renegades supposed to be THE worst of the worst? Like, people so bad not even Bandits want to be affiliated with them? Wouldn't make more sense to make them also be hostile with Loner and Ecologists?

Well, yes
...but
Renegades are THE worst people in the zone, and I thought loners wouldn't give a **** on what they have done in their previous faction to get kicked out

As for ecos', same thing as I wrote earlier. Ecos' want to study the zone, they give 0 ***** about who you are and what you have done in the zone.

How can i restore Duty - Mercs hostility ? .. Duty is the police in the Zone and Mercs are storming labs for strangers .. Everything else is acceptable and makes sense .. but those 2 PMCs are there to fight behind the scenes.

Well, im not questioning why duty is hostile to mercs,
but like i said, even lore can't fully explain the hostility of the dutyers to mercs.

So i tried to give another take at them both. Sure, they shouldn't be happy with each others presence and/or what they're doing.

By the same principle loners also should be hostile with dutyers, because loners are also exploring labs for documents to sell to outside people.

At least that's my opinion :v

also v1.1 will include an optional file for duty-merc hostility

Thanks for the patch .. I think Duty must be different from millitary to lure loners recruits... and loners for most they sell thier loot to scientists.

Duty - Merc relations could be explained in fact that Duty is faction made from ex-military members that got cutoff from the main force in the Zone. This means that Duty has strong roots with military, and military would treat Mercs as intruding force interfering heavily into matters of security and containment. Considering Duty shares connections with military heavily - its assumed Mercs would be hostile to both.

I agree only on CS-Army relations... it would have some sense. Loners-Bandits-Renegades have sense as in vanilla, because the main source of plundering and robbing by Bandits are Loners. With Loners being neutral to them, Bandits ( and to one extent Renegades ) lose their sense completely.

These are only my points ofc, some will definitely like this addon...

HI, can u pls make a version where Bandits are hostile to Loners since there is no reason why Bandits should be friendly with Loners while their main source of income is kidnaping and killing Loners.
P.S. Thats just my humble opinion, but also making some missions for Sydorovich and some other organizations became oddly complicating.

Just a feedback, but this addon kind of breaks those Rescue mission Wolf gives to you since Bandits wont react to you getting the hostage Loner out of their camps.

There´s still something that´s making a mess in my head. In Call of Chernobyl, Freedom is an enemy for both Clear Sky and Ecologists, but in Call of Pripyat, they really wanted to protect the ecologists, and as far as I know, Freedom fights for free access to the zone, they want to study it. Is it just something from CoC developers to keep the zone interesting or is it really against the stalker lore?
