This is my own interpretation of the cut airfield level of Crysis.
Crysis would've had more missions, one of those missions was a airfield level, in my interpretation the airfield is attacked by the Ceph, you and US soldiers must defend the airfield, meanwhile the KPA is trying to do the same thing. Its a three way battle. [Some Ceph Scout may glitch into some building, in that case try to find it or load a previous save]
I'm aware that there is another airfield level in moddb, This addon is not related to that addon, if you have the other airfield level installed, delete it so my level doesn't overwrite the other one.
HOW TO INSTALL: Extract the folder called game, inside your Crysis folder.
Then open the game and type on the console without quotations: "con_restricted 0" and after "map airfield"
(The zz_airfield_custom.pak is just a custom xml that enables me to use some unused tracks in the game file, nothing that will deeply mess with your game. If you don't trust it you can delete it, it won't make the level unfinishable, but you will be missing unused music.)

the white flash that spawns the US jeep is caused by some alien explosion, should've added more of them so its less unnoticeable.
I have some ideas to try to interpret some of the early screenshots, but for now this was only a side project, now I need to focus back on New Times.

-Improved AI behaviours, Alien Scouts now won't take forever to come to the airfield. (Thanks roadie!)
-KPA tank attacks the hunter instead of player.
-VTOL trigger activates when door opens now.
-Changed spawn positions of US LTV and KPA TANK on the airfield to avoid the player noticing it spawning from thin air.
Hi, I looked updated version of the airport patch 1, still riding on the airport anti-aircraft guns attacking the player is such a great idea, let them stand on the ground and shoot down our (American) jets, in addition to scouts aliens) and killing them we can land and here the scope expands and warrior appears activating the beam and teleporting hunter

« airfield evacuation » level by “Redbr34” is a cool map, quite polished.
Author is inspired by some « Crysis Alpha » material I havn’t seen personally but Art with the night TOD and general atmosphere succeeds in its idea of a battle between US/koreans/aliens after chaos. This map plays well overall because it has a good variety in enemies, weapon rotation, a vehicule section and excellent autosaves placement. Maybe NK base is a bit overcrowed but doable. This level manages to provide a Crysis feeling with the basic mechanic of the game put in a nutshell. It is not very open or with multiple objectives at the same time so its more like Crysis Warhead but I still definitely advise fans of Crysis custom maps to give it a try, playtime is around 1h. Thanks to the author for making and sharing it.
