You should write for what version it is, because some people can already test 1.4.0 and if its based on 1.3.x it will mess guns a bit(mostly scopes).
Beside that nice addon, I know that some people like such fov, even if Im more toward small zoom especially on pistols...
I've tested it on 1.4, but I'll get on testing with 1.3.x later today. And thanks, I myself really prefer the lack of zoom for especially indoors where you need to see around you as well as aim.
Yay ! :3
What version is this for?
1.4 but I'm testing it on 1.3.x soon
Anomaly would benefit from introducing uniform zoom level like in Dead Air, where you have scope zoom factor for ironsights equal to 1, and the fov is then always equal to the user fov. Its really useful, you dont have to change 100 files for fov.
I agree, but 1) I know some people like the extra zoom and 2) For now this will do, until they decide to add it in (or not)
the tt-33 modern pistol is bugged for me, i cant aim it just goes straight to the left "off screen"
And the gsh18, but nothing I do can fix it. I've even used the files straight from the default game and it doesn't work. At a bit of a loss here.
Any chances of a update to 1.5 for this? Not sure this works at the moment, would be great to have real irons again.
Im going to install on top of 1.5 and ill let you know if it works.
I feel like it shouldn't zoom out when i ADS on ironsights or is it tied to the FOV?
It's tied to the FOV, so if you use the 83 version on a FOV of 70 it'll zoom in, but if you use that same version on 83 FOV it won't zoom. This is because the scope_zoom_factor is controlling how much it zooms, I have just given different variables for the different FOV's to make that zooming equal nothing. So make sure to use a FOV out of the selection (73, 83, 93) or at least the closest to your FOV. You could also meddle with the settings to get it right for your FOV, that's how I did it.
Ah nice
Download still not available? Nerfed, I sent you an IM.
Mega.nz
link to a mega with the 1.5 updated ironsights
Thanks! Is this the same as the version posted here (1.5.6)?
Never mind, download works now. Thanks again!
For future reference, the version in the MEGA and the version on ModDB is the same.
Nice work! THX!
Thanks! I'm playing on 80 FOV, using your 73 FOV fix. Now, instead of scope-level zoom, when I raise my weapon there is an *ever so slight* zoom effect - which for me, perfectly simulates my character focusing on the iron sights. Nevertheless, scopes and binoculars remain unaffected. 10/10.
Glad to hear it's working well and you're enjoying it!
So when you gonna make a same sense version for 3.0 :D
I didn't know there was demand, but I'll start work on it
Please make it support FOV 90
It supports 93 FOV
Will this work with Call of Chernobyl v1.4.22?
Edit: Will this work with AO3 mod pack?
This will not work with anything except Anomaly
