Lets you squeeze through around NPCs, your body will move around an NPC but the camera is still pretty wonky when you do it. Side effects might include weird ladders and being able to go through tiny holes. Optional files include a higher prone that makes your character no longer eat dirt, or a replacement of prone with old vanilla crouch with accurate hitboxes. Made for Anomaly 1.5.1 DLTX.
I imagine you were privy to the conversation everyone else had about that so im going to assume you DO know the old version works for the new game with no issues, correct? Or am I missing something here?
I'm going to keep 1.5.0 and 1.5.1 versions of my mods for people that still play the old version for reasons unknown. 1.5.1 has slower crouch speed in actor.ltx and I also changed some extra numbers a bit to see how it plays out.
Ahh ok. Well kudos for catering to everyone!
I can understand it I suppose. Most probably do it for the same reason they do in Call of Chernobyl. Old mods that never got updated, and most folks dont want the hassle of updating.
Also: I do hope the crouch speed isn't too low? I feel like people go... overboard with how slow it is. Considering the normal crouch is just hunching over, proven by the animation. So it would be rather easy to move at a decent speed like that. While low crouching is an proper squat down. Although I suppose the normal crouch has to do both due to Anomaly adding a prone for... some reason. Frankly I wish it were gone, it only makes the game annoying when I go prone for cover but still get shot.
Probably added for the sniper roleplayers.
1.5.0 crouch coefficient was 0.65, it was changed by the devs in 1.5.1 to 0.45 so it's slower now by like 30%. I'll look into DLTX and see if I can figure it out, then make 3 versions of squeeze through, one with very low prone like it is now, one with a bit higher prone so you're not eating dirt 24/7, one with vanilla high crouch and crouch.
v3 is out, now you can also pick between higher prone and normal crouch like SoC. The crouch has accurate hitboxes, tested with 3rd person. With prone you'll probably still stick out of low cover, but I prefer it since it's usable now and you can crawl around in all sorts of cool places like under trucks etc.
It would be good as a DLTX format
I will look into DLTX somewhere in this week probably and see if I can make most of my mods into the new cool format everyone's using.
hey, does DLTX functionality work only with the mod organiser or can it somehow be used with manual mod installing? I haven't jumped to a MO yet as I have a solid 100+ mod installation.
You don't need MO2 for DLTX, only DLTX itself. Then you just manually copy paste gamedata like with other mods. I still highly recommend MO2, it makes manual modding so much easier.
If you are interested, i made a bundle which will allow dltxify the mod by right clicking on it and choosing "DLTXify mod" entry. Here is the link. The instructions on how to use is inside in readme file

You're a legend, this makes modding like 10 times easier
It would be good as a DLTX format
Me too :D
Right click yourself and dltxify yourself then? Mod's dltx now btw
Great, thanks.
now the character can't even cross the curb, and takes damage when jumping, tell me, does this work with hd models?
Those are vanilla problems. It works with any mod that doesn't change actor.ltx, so yes it works with HD models.
yeah, but now the weapons are all effed up. it looks like I'm aiming from a meter above my head... I'm using wpn reposition mods (EFT and others) so maybe that is the issue. Will try with your dltx version, I think that will fix the issues.
seems fixed with the dltx version. good job!
You're doing God's work.
MO-2 does not allow you to put
