A military train carrying chemical products and viruses intended for the research of biological weapons has derailed, causing several vats on board to leak. A fire breaks out which gives off a toxic gas. The gas drifts and contaminates a small nearby town as a result. In the next few hours, soldiers and scientists cordon off a quarantine area around both the scene of the accident and the town. Total chaos breaks out in the town. The local police are completely overwhelmed as people begin to die because they have inhaled the mortal gas. The inhabitants end up barricading themselves in their homes. As the smoke fades away bit by bit, they think their worries are over. However, in the street, numerous victims who were presumed dead begin to get up. Walking hesitantly with their eyes rolled skywards and groaning mournfully, they begin to attack the people who are not yet contaminated with the virus.
