"Sandstorm" is the first major project of the World War II Submod, an overhaul based on the Great War Mod for Napoleon Total War. It is centered in the North African Theatre of the second World War, with a planned campaign based around a slightly alternate-history scenario that lands Rommel's Afrika Korps in Alexandria, Egypt, and a reeling British Army preparing to fend off the dual threat of Axis forces in the West, and the Vichy French threat from the North.
Amazing effects and wonderful models. It's a big step up compared to the reskinned Landwehr of previous versions. However this is still a beta and the elements of a missing campaign and artilery/tank models don't fully allow me to give this a 10/10. My review is subject to change when the full version is released, but for now this will keep me occupied for a couple weeks while waiting for TGW 5.0
