"What Remains" is a Fallout1/2 total conversion based on the FOnline Engine, using assets of Fallout 1/2. It is a singleplayer game and rather focusses on more linear, deep storytelling, then an open sandbox world. The game will take place in the area of the Great Lakes in the postapocalyptical USA, the years which passed after the great war can be counted on a few hands and toes, so one can assume not much time passed since then. It will be a big part of the game to just survive, try to come by, to be part of this harsh world.
On Request, here is the new "ragged coat" armor, zoomed in. Old Vaultsuitmodel is added for comparison.
It's just beautiful. It's a hard piece of work to make all the frames by yourself, istn't it? Or are the frames just not yet implemented, or something?
Or is it finally possible to use 3D models?
Yep, it is basing on a 3d model. ;) Only thing which needs to be done is to create a pixelisation shader for the critters, as they stand out too much to the enviroment and are looking too "smooth".
Cool. I'm btw glad to see, that you're not using "real" 3D-models as they'll be used in coming-soon-versions of FOnline:2238.
They're not looking bad, but in my opinion, they don't fit the style. (I hope that's correct.^^)
Well, it *is* a real 3d model.
Indeed, the models blend a bit too much in the surroundings removing that old cartoony Fallout feeling. I like it anyway!
Wow 3d models would be great. New animations and many other.
