Universal Mod is a mod which diversifies good old UO a little bit. It adds some new weapons, new models, and new nations to be played - Japanese and Italians. The one distinguish feature of this mod is that it uses as much vanilla textures as possible, so its weight is reasonable (currently approx. 12 MB for client side file)

Here comes the release of Universal Mod's MP client side version 1.6.6 # universal_mod ## Installation Copy the whole `mods` folder into `Call of Duty` folder. Example full path: `C:games\Call of Duty\mods\universal_mod_1.6.6` ## Launching the mod Please double click the `START.bat` file

Changelog:
- mines can be triggered by any damage (shooting with any weapon, grenade or artillery)
- added HUD ammo shells indicating current clip's ammo
- new game mode: Hold and Defend (enhanced HQ with no spawning-blocking time - with only a short delay)
- PTRD-41 antitank rifle (added to mp_kursk and mp_ponyri)
- BAS now also supports Japanese and Italian armies
- Afrika Korps soldiers have both helmets and "caps"
- added a position in main menu for quickconnect to the server
- weapons' shuffle for giving the possibility of adding new more weapons in the future (overcoming CoD's weaps limitation a bit)
- changed Italian playerbody's skins for using more stock textures (affects mod's size)
- added Panzer IV - desert version with mg34 turret
- added Horch - desert version
- added Lewis MG as deployable variant
- added new iteration of Desert Storm map (it supports more gametypes: bas or dom for instance)
- added breakpoints for map_rotation (game uses different map_rotation lists depending on players' count)
- some bugfixing
