Just an early version nothing final, don't forget this mod is based on the books so it won't be a clear copy of the movie version.

Oh, books you say? I had no idea. I didn't play "The Last Days" for the same reason, i'm all for the movie looks as they look brilliant.

Sorry to say but i won't be following this mod anymore, good luck to you nonetheless...

Sanguinius. The Last Days is the greastest mod of Mount and Blade. The armours are compensated. It's simply brilliant. I recomend you to play

The moment i saw the armors, helmets and weapons especially on elves, i gave up after 30 minutes. They may look good, but it's my opinion that they don't belong in a LotR based mod. Movie armors and weapons are 100 times more beautiful and we all love them.

Well, this is the problem of remaining "faithfull to the book." Since book offers no, or next to no descriptions of armours, it puts a large strain on your imagination. Curiously most of the mods, even a very good mods, which insist on being "faightfull to the book" have very monotone rosters (most of their soliders have chainmaill - and with all due respect to modders, most of them had clearly never held chainmaill in their hands). If you are confident that you can come up with original concepts, with variety sufficient to keep the mod interesting, then I have nothing against being "faithfull to original." So far, it is a bit early to say, though I have to say, you will have to do better than this.

Since we are basing the mod on the books, we've used various illustrations that were created by tolkien himself. The helmet above itself was an illustration of the crown of gondor helmet that was made by Tolkien.

However we are in talks of an alternative solution, one that came up was to make the helmet only for Tier 1 units,
