Currently v1.1 has 0 working servers :( So this might turn into a bit of a problem when we're going to launch version 1.2. TTR is still aiming in giving players an intense online experience. In order to do so we need at least some servers so support current and new players.
There are tons of games and mods that have server support but half of those servers are rarely used. TTR has been downloaded for over a 1500 times, however without the neccesairy servers players won't stick around to see what TTR can fully offer them.
It has come to this that one of the TTR clans (DCLI) is coughing up money in order to hire a professional server from a company simply because they haven't been able to play the mod in over three weeks, which is as you can probably understand very frustrating.
However its a lot more frustrating for us, the developpers, we spent our free time in this mod for over two years, and now we notice that the community has to pay in order to play it decently online, and that new players simply don't stick around because of that pain point.
We're almost out of options here we started a petition a while ago, with over 144 unique signitures, but no-one of the current hosting company's (that do offer free servers to some games/mods) would respond.
This is basically a cry for servers, if anyone who has the capabilities of hosting a dedicated server please contact us at Stryker@thethirdreich.com or Spunge@thethirdreich.com and we will work something out.
