TSLRCM tries to fix to the best of our abilities the issues The Sith Lords had due to being rushed. Containing a host of restored content and fixes many bugs left inside TSL giving you the most polished and best possible chance to get the full experience.
Version 1.8.2 of the Sith Lords Restoration Content Mod, featuring a LOT of fixes, and some additional, compared to 1.7, and especially compared to vanilla TSL. This mod should hopefully give you the full experience Obsidian intended to give the player when working on KOTOR2.
(Note; the download will say you'll be installing 1.8.1, but it is 1.8.2. We'll be updating the installer (and parts of the readme, since it mentions 1.8.1 sometimes too) later)

what version of the GAME is needed? just installed it and it's at 2.00.420... do I need to update the game first, or can I just download+install this mod and play?
Latest version is always a good idea :) Since this is new release
update first then patch with the mod.
Strange, cant download. Tryed a couple of times, but still got error 503.
download works again (had same issues about an hour ago)
I've waited years and years for this! AWESOME! =D Reinstalling kotorII right now ;)
This seems out of place, but I can't seem to find any contact info for the authors, a lot of the footage and screenshots I'm seeing are in widescreen, is this part of the patch itself, or is an external fix being used, such as a hex edit like this?
Wsgf.org
I made my screenshots at 1600x1200. That's not a widescreen resolution. So no, 1.8 does not do that.
Does TSLRCM fix the floating racer glitch?
Nope, but the official 1.0b patch does...
Wow. Amazing. Would it make a difference if I downloaded it here or on DeadlyStream? If it does, where should i download it.
Cool as beans, man.
@Hassat_Hunter: I have just recently had visas come into my party. I gained all influence i could with her (through the normal dialogue on the Ebon Hawk describing how she found me, force sight, her master, etc....) and i trained atton to become a jedi. Now i talk to the handmaiden and shes angry with me! Every option leads to either "stay with her then. this is the end between us" or just "this is the end between us"! every time i talk to her shes like leave me be! This is just like if you say to bastila on kotor1 leave me alone! How can i reverse this???? I want her to be a jedi!
It's too late now...
Shouldn't have been so friendly with Visas.
On the plus side, this gives you added content on Malachor :)
Haha awesome. Cant wait to see it. Don't get me wrong, i like visas way better than the Handmaiden as an overall character, its just that I just want the handmaiden to be a jedi so i can make as many as possible people in the party as jedi to help me out in completing the game. (too lazy to go through everything to make Bao-Dur a jedi :P)
If you are on the dark side she will hate you.

Hassat, this is PROBABLY the last question I ask you before I leave you alone for good and resume my playtime of this AWESOME mod (unless you reply which might lead to more questions XD) but in all seriousness would a widescreen patch work with this game AFTER it has been installed and not BEFORE? And if it works, would you advise for or against it? Or would you not care at all? Thanks
It should work either way. We don't modify the .exe (with it being illegal and all)
How can i download this, i couldnt find the download button=S
Okey, i got it;)
okay i am having a problem on goto's yacht were i cannot find power distribution code and i literly looked everywhere so unless its in those stupid droids on the observation deck that i can't access the behavior core of then it is no where so i could use some help.
Use the console in the room where the exile was held...
lol i found it already i must have been a little tiered last night for missing it

does this mod work on the KOTOR collection version of KOTOR 2? if so how do i know i have it installed right in my directory?
It does.
The launcher doesn't update, but you should notice the ingame differences...
Would it be wise to use your 1.7 Patch along with 1.8, or does 1.8 feature everything within the 1.7 Patch?
Don't use it, really.
Everything from there is in 1.8, improved to boot.
Gotcha'.
With KOTORII recently released on Steam, would this be compatible with it?
It should be. So far everyone seems to install it successfully...
The Launcher and mod version doesnt show up. Is that a change with the steam version or does that mean something didnt work correctly ?
Im not very far into the game so I havent really had a chance to check the differences to know whether it worked or not.
That's with the Steam version yes, it doesn't mean the game isn't properly installed.
I just ran the 1.8 installer on the Steam version. What should the first couple changes should I see be?
See if Kreia says "Ebon Hawk" instead of "ship"...
So, does this mod work for you with the Steam version? I am considering purchasing KOTOR2 again (my old CDs were left at my old home) and I would gladly support Obsidian if only the Steam edition worked with the mod.
It should, so go ahead and buy it! :)

I have one more question. I believe one more... Is 1.8 compatible with the Ultimate Saber Mod? I wouldn't expect it to be (yet), but it would be brilliant if it were.
Nope, and never will be.
We rather spend time on making other new mods like M4-78EP, than fixing up that mess to work properly with TSLRCM, which it so far never did, even with comp. patches...
I downloaded the mod, I am using the Steam version, do I place this folder in the data folder or just in the general folder of Kotor 2?
Nevermind I figured it out, so far Kreia mentioned the Ebon Hawk, and if I get an ingame cutscene of Sion, that would mean the mod surely worked?
I too am using the steam version and was curious about whether or not to put in general or data folders only apparently i'm not as bright as you because i am still unsure. (tentatively placed in general folder) Considering my uncertainty i was also looking for a surefire way of knowing whether or not i have this wonderful mod installed correctly.
Root folder, yes. Not sure what the "data" folder is you guys talk about.
And look for what TheExile mentioned...
Hi,
Does the latest patch work with the Steam version of the game?
How will we know it works?
Will I need to create a new save?
Where do I save the patch ive downloaded?
Sorry for all the questions im a little eager to get into and play without so many bugs.
Hi!
Yes
Finding the Vibrocutter instead of Vibroblade on Peragus
Yes
Anywhere, doesn't matter. All that matters is where you install when running TSLRCM.
Thanks for the update!
I have uninstalled and reinstalled inside the Steam - KOTOR2 folder however it is still not showing as being active?
Should I uninstall the earlier version of TSLRCM or can I just download and install then play the game?
It's best to completely re-install the entire game...
