Description

This mod adds the planet of M4-78 to the game, where you can find living Master Vash. Planet is only available after finishing Korriban. You will find a clue on how to get to M4-78 in Korriban's Sith Academy. Features: * Brand new planet consisting of seven new, unique locations! * Over two hours of additional gameplay! * Explore the mysterious Droid's Planet in a dialog-heavy adventure, with over 1000 lines of voiced dialogs! * Your actions on M4-78 have impact on other planets, making it feel like a legitimate part of the game! * Restored previously unavailable unique droid items for your party members! Please note that for now, M4-78 Enhancement Project is only compatible with English version of a game. If possible, we'll try to support it with translations same way we supported TSLRCM - but given amount of text on a planet, it may take a while to translate. In the meantime, it's *possible* to run this mod with non-english versions of a game using DLGConverter - visit our forums

Great :) Now Kotor II is nearly complete (the only mod left concerns the final phases on Malacor V)!

I just made this account to let you know that I'm really looking forward to playing this mod. I haven't played kotor 2 in years and just installed the restored content mod and I have to say, what you've done here is truly impressive.

Thanks for all your hard work

I last played the rcm over a year ago and can't wait to see the new goodies, especially this new planet. Thanks for all the work you've done :)

Unfortunately, it seems I can't successfully patch M478 to tslrcm. Other than needing to turn down the video setting once I patch rcm to tsl (the game crashes otherwise), rcm 1.8.2 seems to work great. However, when I then apply the M478 patch, the game crashes every time I try to open it, even after minimizing the video setting and fooling around with other configurations. Even worse, I couldn't figure out a way to get rid of the botched patch without uninstalling the whole game. Hoping these problems are just mine, but letting you know in case it's not an isolated issue.

I don't see how any video issues could be related to TSLRCM or M4-78.

Did more research, and it turns out the big problem likely had nothing to do with the patches interacting or the video setting. After lots of testing, the game was only randomly working (usually not working, but occasionally starting, and coincidentally starting when I turned down the video before my original post), and the problem had to do with the Mss32.dll file from the main game and my OS hating each other :) Found the fan patch that fixed it. Hopefully problem solved for good :)

Does this mod work with TSLRCM 1.8.2 or are they not compatible?

I bought this game after I came across this page and I love it. I don't know what the game was like originally.

I actually came here to with one issue. I could be wrong, but I think some of the journal updates in m4-78 are a step behind. The journal tells me what I just did as if I that is the step I need to complete next, or I oculd be wrong.

Okay so I played this yesterday, and its pretty neat. I loved the opening cutscenes and dialogue. Just a few things I wanted to point out though. As rickclops already commented on , the journal entries are a step behind. I was playing it through and i noticed that it wouldn't update the journal until I progressed further, then the update would appear of what I've already done. A minor thing, but I thought I would mention it. Also, in some areas, the lag for me is immense. I have an old computer so that is likely the cause, but the lag I get in some areas on M4-78 resembles the lag I get when playing in the jek jek tarr. I'll get these huge lag spikes, then my character would freeze in place and not be able to move forwards. I'm pretty sure it's just my crap computer (although it does meet system requirements, and i have the graphics as low as i can take it). I was just wondering if there was any code I could enter somewhere in the kotor2 files that could help reduce the lag and make it more playable. Other than that, the mod works fine, and I'm really enjoying it so far. I can imagine the amount of work you guys put into it, so thanks again

What quest does it "run behind"?
Yeah, especially the Industrial zone with it's smoke can be heavy on computers. Do you already have the Disable Vertex Buffer Shaders = 1 line added to your .ini? Should help some...

It was hard to put together IS-02, hard to get to the point where I could let humans in and.. I never did find the robot legs, the droid it told me to see didn't have anything to say about them. There was one other quest where the journal was behind sometimes, another one of the earlier quests. Everything was easier to figure out later on in the story.

I can't remember exactly which quests (sorry, i probably should have written it down for you), but I remember having problems when it came to assembling that droid that you needed to get sent to the designers or what not. Also, I don't believe I've used that code so ill try it, thanks.

I just finished M4-78 (as well as the whole game) today for the first time using the reconstruction mod, and I feel much more satisfied with the game than I did the first time around. I use to be a bigger fan of Kotor1 because it was more complete, and had the great story. But with the reconstruction mod + M4-78, kotor2 beats it honestly. The ending is a lot more satisfying. I even started a new game on the light side already. In terms of M4-78, there's a lot of back and forth, errand boy work, so it was nice to take out some of my frustration on you know who at the end ^^

But great work guys. Hope to see more work from you in the future!

You can get two from central zone maintenance unit when he explains how to reactivate L5-65.
You can get power core from Industrial Zone maintenance droid if you got parts for him (Manufacturing Recourses side-quest). If you didn't do that quest, you'll still get a power core if you didn't kill any other droids.
One can be found in the loading zone.
One can be found in Sith's body, near the Environmental Zone's entrance.
One is dropped by one of the droids you kill in the Environmental Zone.
If you kill Kaah, you get power core from his body, too.

I have gotten the power core from ind. zone maint. droid, found the one in the loading zone, looted the sith body, and picked up the one that dropped from droid in the enviromental zone, and I only got 1 from the central zone maint. droid, and one droid returned one since he couldn't fix the communication network in the central zone. But for some odd reason I only had 3 of them. Any solutions to this bug?

Same exact issue on my end, though the sith body gave a double bladed lightsaber, not a power core, though I should still have had the four. Willing to use the console so put it in honestly.

Your party members are moved to a specific points for the cutscene, and the script is named rather generic, so it might be if the same file is in override it crashes said scene...
