The Lost Realms will have it's own custom soundtrack

A few of you may have noticed the piece of music i put up last night. Well that was the first of many tracks that once i've recorded them you'll hear in the game. The music is very light and acoustic to suit the mood of the surroundings. If you would like to listen to it here it is:

This piece of music was written as the background music for the Shores of Salehm, the first realm in the mod. If you've never seen the realm before you can find it on our images page. Also here's the trailer that was released a little while ago:

So what's your opinion on the music? I'd love to know so drop us a comment below or rate our mod out of 10 on the homepage. If you would like more news as it's released you can track our mod with the Track This Mod button to your right. Or you can download version 1.1 of the mod from: Moddb.com

Peace,
Mix

Hello, i like what you have going with the music so far, however i feel it hasn't been fleshed out as much as it can be. even some soft synth strings holding chords in the background could make it so much more atmospheric.

it's not necessary to go the real route. Miroslav philharmonik will do strings and orchestral sounds that most people won't be able to check the difference. I don't personally own the software, synth strings are good enough. I could do it for you if you send me the file and chord progression. :)

I really like the piece, it has a catchy Nostalgia bringing me back to some really good old-school RPG's from the late 90's and early 2000's - unconventional and easy to listen to over again; great work.

P.S. Even some basic background chords or strings could make it even better, it might give off a slightly more pro feeling to many players.
