This mod adds and changes many things in Call To Arms. The goal with this project is to revive Call To Arms, and add more (much needed) realism to the game series.


RANGE

Range has been dramatically increased. Small arms weapons range from 200m for SMGs, 300m for rifles, 330m for LMGs, and 400m for HMG/Autocannons. Tanks/Helis/Arty will engage up to 1km as well if enemies are scouted.

SOUND

Sound has been reworked inside and out. This mod offers Gates Of Hell's 3D sound design, adding 3rd person sounds, mid sounds, and far sounds to all weapons. All weapons and vehicle sounds have been replaced entirely (some sounds are from HangEmHigh and Gates Of Hell and I dont own any rights to them)

HD FX ENTITIES & REALISTIC TANK MECHANICS

All FX entities have been replaced with Gates Of Hell's, and some have been modified to be more realistic.

That being said, cookoffs have been added when ammo is hit inside a tank. Western based tanks will have blowout panels that allow the crew to leave the tank safely. Once the cookoff stops, western tanks will be able to repair the damage and rearm, and deploy. Russian based tanks will unfortunately not have the same fate, nor will any autoloading tank.

Armor for tanks has also been reworked entirely. HP for tanks is now gone, and all tanks now have realistic armor thickness in correct areas. Being knowledgeable about where ammo is stored will help since all tanks now have penetrable ammo onboard that can explode when hit.

DAMAGE/BALLISTICS

Damage and ballistics for all weaponry has been reworked completely. Bullet drop off damage is more defined now, and each ammo type has more realistic damage. Tank cannons behave similar to war thunder now, and HEAT rounds dont loose pen power over distance whereas APFSD will.

NEW FACTIONS

This mod offers Ukraine and China for new factions, that are available in both conquest and skirmish/mp modes.

BETTER CONQUEST

Conquest mode has been reworked slightly. Round times for both defense and attack have been increased to around 25-30 mins. New maps have also been introduced, and more will be added over time.

Enemy research in conquest has also been reworked. This affects which vehicles are to be spawned at which day.

NEW MAPS

Includes many new maps, 7 of which are made by me. There's a handful of maps that are from the campaign that I converted into MP for combined arms mode.20230325005320 1

Adds many new vehicles to all factions, including AA and MLRS vehicles (I dont own rights to any model in this mod)

NEW FPS CAMERA

Adds new immersive camera positions that forces the player to use 1st person mode. Lots of interface helpers have also been removed, like red outlined enemies and penetration markers.
