Tacos Mod contain 25 new missions, 47 new weapons, rifle-grenade-launchers, flame-throwers, missions set during winter, 11 new items, 25 new ammunition types for firearms, over 60 new textures & more. The mod lean towards historical accuracy, but focuses more on game-play with missions both completely fictional & some loosely based on real events. Tacos Mod Alpha-4 is now available for download. It has new missions, a new map, a few new weapons & a new weapon type.

Tacos Mod Alpha-4 has been authorized & is now available for download.

Here's a list of what's new in Alpha-4:

  • 2 new missions.
  • 1 new map.
  • 3 new weapons.
  • Rifle Grenade-Launchers & grenade-launcher ammunition added.

One of the new missions uses the "Port" map from original SHoWW2, I've been trying to make one for a long time for that map but never made anything good enough to release with Tacos Mod until now. The other mission however uses a completely new map made from scratch & is set in a coastal town with a sizable workshop.
Alpha-4 also introduces rifle grenade-launchers. I managed to make them work alright, as in you can use them against people fairly efficiently, however, they lack the function to change between normal rifles & grenade-launchers, so they must be a separate weapon. I hope I will a find a stable & effective solution to this later, but at least they function as a weapon of their own for now.
