Main differences from version 1

Secondary shot :
Almost all weapons now have secondary shots.

SecShot 0

Secondary shots consume more ammunition, but at the same time they are very powerful.
Fight as before or eliminate the enemy quickly, even if it costs a lot?
This feature will bring a new strategic dimension to the gameplay of Runner's Doom 3.


Enemies with roles :
Some enemies have their own "roles". Enemies with roles will behave differently from normal enemies.
Special attention should be paid when a group of enemies with multiple roles is encountered.

Roles 0

You no longer have to think that you can simply shoot at the nearest enemy.
You have to observe the behavior of the enemies and choose whom to shoot.


High customizability with CVars :
Some time after I released version 1, I received some comments asking if it would be possible to revert some settings to vanilla.
As a mod creator, it is sad to receive such feedback, but I also felt that "their opinions are valid".
Therefore, I decided to produce a mod with the utmost respect for their opinions. (That's the motivation for version 2 production. :) )

CVars 0

Almost all features added by this mod can be changed or deleted by editing CVars.
For example, you can play this Runner's Doom3 with almost all features turned back to vanilla. Or you can play it with only the features you think you need turned on.
Of course, with all Runner's Doom3 feature turned on, you can further set the values to your liking.
The number of CVar added exceeds 500. I invite you to build your own Doom 3. :D


Others :
Some values were re-set to be closer to vanilla.
It is now possible to have a flashlight function on firearms. This is similar to the function of the famous mod "Duct Tape".
Several settings have been changed to increase difficulty. For example, regeneration is off by default. Of course, the functions have not been removed, so it is possible to re-set them to reduce difficulty.
Special animations when enemies appear are not omitted as much as possible. However, to prevent spawn kills, damage to the enemy during the animation is reduced by a quarter.
Soul Cube has been changed to charge souls over time instead of absorbing souls from enemies. This is a bitter pill to swallow due to the mod's specifications, and cannot be reverted. xP


Deteriorated part :
Very unfortunately, version 2 failed to include one feature that was present in version 1; compatibility with third-party engines.
Runner's Doom 3 version 2 does not work on Dhewm3 and RBDoom3BFG.
Dhewm3 does not load gamex86.dll in the Runners2 folder, so the mod will not work on that engine.
RBDoom3BFG fails (for some reason) to compile Runners2 scripts. Therefore, this mod does not work on the engine.
PSPS: All these problems have all been resolved now.

Deleted Features :
The feature of defeated enemies dropping items has been removed; I feel that there is already enough ammunition placed on Doom3 maps.
The feature of lighting enemies has been removed. No one uses this kind of thing, right?
