This mod is a total overhaul of the AI. It covers a wider range of difficulties than vanilla, all of which play in a more humanlike fashion than their vanilla counterparts.

A new release and a recap of everything the v4 series brings.

Since November 2014 the Queller AI has been providing a smarter and more humanlike opponent for thousands of Planetary Annihilation players. Though you might say it really dates back to 1999 when my first Queller AI was released for Total Annihilation.

As of version 4.0, Queller has included support for the Legion Expansion, a completely new faction for Planetary Annihilation: TITANS that slots in seamlessly alongside the existing faction.

But that isn't all. Working along the Legion Expansion team gave me access to some of the game's top players as playtesters. Watching them take on Queller has taught me a lot of valuable lessons and I've fed that into improving its game further, ensuring it's using the latest tricks from the meta.

4.0.2 - 2016/05/14

This latest release is based on the latest Legion Expansion 0.11.0 playtests and brings some much needed improvements to Queller's Legion game, further differentiating it from its MLA play.

Queller AI Uber playing Legion Expansion

  • Uber no longer uses the Nova
  • Uber will use more Meteors
  • Uber will only use Legion T2 bombers and gunships when it has air dominance
  • Increased chance of Uber Legion teching to T2 bots
  • Uber produces Panzers earlier in response to air and orbital threats
  • Uber stops producing Havocs once advanced units hit the field
  • No longer keeps the Thor at range

4.0.1 - 2016/04/29

Following the release of the Planetary Annihilation PTE a couple of errors in the way Queller displayed its personalities was discovered. These were fixed here. Also players were advised to uninstall the AI Compatibility Mod Patch Client (different from the AI Compatibility Mod Patch)

Queller AI Uber personality with 2x eco bonus

  • Uber builds OmniSilos a little further away from its buildings
  • mikeyh fixed error in way personalities were passed between hosts which also makes it compatible with PA's stable release
  • mikeyh removed dependency on AI Compatibility Mod Patch Client

4.0.0 - 2016/04/25

This was the big one. The culmination of months of work, it included complete support for the Legion Expansion, as well as drastically improving Queller's MLA game.

  • Smarting spacing between defences for Uber

  • No more idle scouts in base

  • No longer sacrifices air defence for mine vision in its platoons

  • Uber now less predictable in the late game especially on higher resource bonuses
  • Fixed a bug where Titans never left the base
  • Uber gives higher priority to Commander snipes with Holkins
