Helle, thank you for the mod, it's very cool. But there are still some small bugs. The zoomed in crossair for the first gun is not correct (with black borders) and there are too many shadows when the grandfather or others die by the machines in the second level.
Lovely work, y2keeth. I've been using your "Prey Hi-Def Mod V.1" for a long time now. This "Version 2.1" is a dream come true. Looks 3 times better than "V.1". I noticed all the visual bugs I was experiencing with "V.1" are not present in this "V.2" release. Thank you for your work & improvements on this great mod.
Thanks very much for this. A great mod. I'm wondering if there's something wrong on my end or a bug in the mod. I noticed that many human character models seem to have missing necks, like their heads are floating. Also weird dark patches can appear on some characters, for instance when Jan and the grandfather are on the machines when they first get abducted, they have dark patches on their armpits. I also killed one of those mutated human slave enemies at one point and after shooting its arm off there was a shadow arm in its place.
Will this sort out the the dark models? not all of them are. If you switch the torch on you can see them. But meeting the leader in old tribes just a black image.
I'm using a modded reshade with my rtx gpu, usually i try the games before loading reshade, sorry i didnt do it with this time..

I would just like to inform you the mod is great except both of the files highdefmodels.pak are causing heads to float on all the Human NPC's. I havnt noticed anything else. I removed those 2 files and the problem was fixed but now all the enemies are all muddy looking now. Is there anyway you can go into those pak files and remove whatever texture it is for the human NPC's? textures, lights, and shaders all check out to be fine, just whatever is in that highdefmodels.pak files (both of them cause i checked both put one in at a time launched the game 2 separate times. still missing necks.🤷🏻♂️)
Wow that's awesome mod! A little heavy for something PCs and has been a bug there and here but, still great mod.
I hope more than like this one in the feature.

The 2.1 install played flawlessly except for neck texture and one recoverable CTD, but then repeatedly CTDs when loading Mothers Embrace level:

My Primary weapon (the assault rifle with zoom in sniper) the sniper scope has a black texture on it.
Not sure what went wrong. Running 1080p everything on, on a 3060.
I have the same problem, its unplayable with this. Is there any solution yet?
