Hello Community!
A few days ago you saw the blank model of the UH 1D from our BGF mate Badscull.
Because of our busy co-worker Blackjack from Battlefield 1918 the Huey got a skin now which you can see in the recent news.
There was a lot of discussion going on concerning our Huey.
Some said that the UH 1D was produced by Bell where as others said that there were also license reproductions of Dornier.
All of you were right.
A short explanation:
When we were talking about the film ?Apocalypse Now? we meant the original version of Bell.
Our version which is used by the German Armed Forces was produced by Dornier.
We hope that all questions have been answered by now. Now going on...!
Model by BGF, Skin by BF1918
The Huey is a real cooperation between members of different mod teams.
The model was created by Badscull member of Battlegroup - Frontlines
and the skin was made by Blackjack from Battlefield 1918.
This shows that mod teams dont have to avoid each other and that a cooperation is good for the community.
We hope the teamwork will continue into the future between Bf1918, BGF and OPK.
Thanks to Blackjack and Badscull for their well done job!
We are proud to have such competent partners and would be delighted if you visit their pages.
Best wishes and see you next time!
Your Operation Peacekeeper - Team
Great shots of the Huey... are they in the game engine or rendered in a 3D package? Looking good whatever... but would be most impressive if in BF2...
