Operation Peacekeeper is a modern warfare modification for the popular game Battlefield 2, based on a fictional development of a Kosovo conflict. The mod features two different sides - the German Bundeswehr and the Serbian VSCG - engaging in the rough and mountainous terrain of Kosovo. Both use state of the art military weapon systems like the German Leopard 2A6 MBT, as well as older, but yet still effective equipment, like the Russian build Mi24V Hind E used by the Serbian forces. The maps cover a large array of different settings, such as for example a domestic port, a small village, or a military airport attacked by German airborne troops.

Driving with a good motorised car on muddy tracks and no sign that reminds you of any limits.

For such extreme situations like above, far away from streets, regulations and traffic jams were so called Cross-Roaders built.
Most of these cars are equipped with many PS to get out of any situations that could cross your way out there.
With thick Pneus, a ram protection (those wild animals out there will remember you ...) and a 4x4 drive these kings of the track will get you almost easy through thick and thin, even normally not passable terrains are with this car a fun ride.

On this basis these cars are to be found in every modern army. And the Hummer, cult object No. 1 under the cross-roaders, is the perfect vehicle.
Even the serbian army and the police know the advantages of this car, they equip their forces with a modded version of the Hummer H1. The rear has been changed as a small transporter, equipped with a M2 machinegun (Cal. 50) or 2 grenade launchers.
All these facts have driven us to bring this car into OPK. Chassis and basic frame are by Ivan and Joe, painting by Kampfwiesel, and the great sound is by DaWallace. Bernie and Nightmare are dealing with the traction and the horses. And who had to wash the Hummer after the testing? Of course! The Betatesters *g.*

Hummer=Civilian version of Humvee.
Humvee=The original for military.

One thing I don't understand why would an army modify a civilian vehicle for military use when there is a military version readily available?
