is there anyway, to make the soldiers units bigger? theyre literally ants, i know you can zoom in but armies in NTW an ETW and others have faaaaaaar more

Are you playing on huge unit size? I have units, some of which have 300 men. If this still does not satisfy you, then you can just make some changes to the campaign unit multiplier in preferences.txt

Why my game doesn't show any text? since 8.7
Go to the data folder and remove any txt.pack files, be sure to leave the two original files. The launcher will write the correct txt.pack file in the data folder. Live.staticflickr.com
I reported this same problem back on July 5 (along with other people). I just tried removing the NTW3_txt.pack file as you suggested. The text boxes are still blank. I tested this after installing 8.7, 8.8 and the 8.9 patch and each time the text boxes remain blank. Note that the text boxes are not blank if I do not install NTW3 mods.
Is there something else that can be done? I have removed and done clean installs of this game multiple times. If it is of any help, after the launcher executes, it creates a NTW3_txt.pack with a Date Modified of 1/23/2020.
Kirismae_Marisa, did you download the Definitive Edition from Steam? I have the same problem, but I suspect it is due to the incompatibility between the Steam's Definitive Edition and NTW3. I think that those who get this game to work don't have that particular edition. I also suspect that Lord_Davn (or whoever the developer of the NTW3 is who might know) hasn't removed his own version and tried with Steam's Definitive Edition. If I am right, then that is particularly sad since new users to Napoleon Total War won't be able to use NTW3.

The 1805 campaign works just fine. I just finished turn 43 as KoI pushing into Russia with the French :) Here is an earlier save_game from 1806_Dec. France has taken Vienna and I'm holding on to Hungary defending against the Russian threat from the East. Live.staticflickr.com

Hello there. I have some problems with multiplayer. "Host`s version of the game differs from yours, you will not be able to connect to this game". I believe i installed everything properly.
Downloaded 4 packs in one folder,

I have a shortcut on the desktop 'NTW3 v8.9'. When i double click on it launcher launch and i can choose: Main Campaign 1805, Ottoman campaign, Peninsular campaign, Classic battles or hardcore ones. Also website, patreon, discord and restore vanilla.
Maybe the problem is that i should choose some exact campaign in order to play with others? Or what?
I also wanted to ask you, can i "give some advices" here? I mean, for example, the troops get exhausted too fast in the combat and for me it is unrealistic. Does it make any sence to say things like it here or on the forums?
The Main Campaign 1805 (& Ottoman) is not playable in MP. The campaign was MP compatible some time ago with earlier NTW3 mods, but it was never stable enough to play past a few turns or battles due to lags & desync's. I believe the current problem is due to Steam's changes to counter hacking and cheats and sees the NTW3 MP campaign mod as such labeling the "Host`s game differs from yours".
The main focus of the NTW3 mod has always been the MP online battles vs human players as the AI is pretty stupid. The historical nature of the NTW3 mod slows the game down from the fast quick pace of the vanilla mod, and yes your troops will tire faster as they did not run all over the battlefield.
Hey there Lord_Davn and the NTW3 team! I have not so much of an "Error with the Mod", "Problem with the Mod", and vice versa. I want to increase the available funds (ONLY ON OFFLINE, I WOULD NEVER DO IT ONLINE), the mod's name is exactly "editable_custom_battle_funds.rar" search it up online wihout the quotation marks. So enough of that, can I maybe get the directory of the main data folder? If there are multiple, please tell me them!
Also, a problem with 8.8 and 8.9, game crashes once I try to open it. Two comments above this comment, there was a comment describing what they did, and I did that. It wouldn't work though. :/

I'd recommend a clean install of the original ntw vanilla game. Remove all files and folders then reload the ntw vanilla mod from Steam. Play a few battles or a turn or two on the campaign to initialize the files then reload the NTW3 mod as shown above.
About 1805 campaign, French army uniforms are looking old, and this remain like they don't look like units that are in multiplayer
They are separate mods except for the Peninsula campaign. The uniforms in NTW3 Classic Battle mod has several different years of French & Coalition troops while the 1805 Campaign is focused on that starting date and does not change as the turns progress.
Yes,but in future will be added more units for French faction ? Because let be honest that kind of uniforms with specific hat are a symbol of Napoleonic wars
When I try to host a game so that my friend and I can battle it out he can't find the host. We run the same version and both have steam versions of the game. Anyway I can fix this?
The NTW3 Classic Battle mod should work fine if your both using legit copies of the original Steam ntw vanilla game. The 1805 & Ottoman campaigns are not MP compatible but the Peninsula campaign should work. You can do drop-in battles for the campaign games: Twcenter.net
Hey, I love the mod! Althouh I found a problem with it. Playing as Sweden, you simple cant start a single naval battle. The game crashes every single time during loading screen. Thought you might want to know!

Hello, are there any future plans to update unit uniforms and/or add units from the multiplayer into the 1805 campaign? Also, is there any hope of fixing the A.I.? I know NTW 3 is mainly a MP focussed mod but the way your supposed to play this mod in MP is way to fun not to play in the campaign.
At some time in the future the 1805 & Ottoman campaigns will be replaced with the Italian & Egyptian campaigns similar to the current Peninsula campaign with Classic Battle units, uniforms & stats. This should include the ability to play MP Campaigns (which is unavailable with the 1805 & Ottoman campaigns)

That's normal for a new mod release, your anti-virus will mark it as a threat because it's new. Allow your anti-virus to install it and everything will be fine. Remember to delete the installer when its completed loading the NTW3 v8.9 mod.

The NTW3 European campaign mod starts in mid Sept. 1805. We've used the Nafziger Orders of Battle collection (online) to recreate the Austrian forces in Bavaria as close as possible at the start of the War of the Third Coalition. You'll have to create your own armies for 1809. Mediafire.com

I am having some issues with NTW. When I load the game as "Hardcore Battles" for example, I encounter the bug where nothing has any text on the campaign map, however I am able to do custom battles. When I load up the 1805 campaign, though, the campaign works, but the battle map seems to be the generic, vanilla one!Also, is it normal that infantry seem to shoot blanks and barely get kills, even when they're very close? Also they don't kneel.Thanks in advance :)
Older game & mod files can corrupt the game files. I would suggest that you completely remove the NTW3 mod and do a clean install of the ntw vanilla game. Play a few battles & campaign to initialize the files and make sure everything is working correctly b4 re-installing the NTW3 mod.
Friends, playing campaign with any faction, after a certain amount of turns, the game crashes. Any ideas? Thank you!
Just freshly installed this mod on a steam clean version, 8.7->8.8->8.9. Started the main campaign as Prussia and encountered a major issue after I upgraded the barrack in Berlin to a military academy. All recruitable units disappeared, cannot recruit any units now. Not sure if I keep upgrading it to staff college will bring all units back or not.

No I don't think so, check your data folder to make sure the two vanilla txt files (in blue) are present. Delete any other txt files including the NTW3_txt.pack file. The NTW3 launcher will rewrite the correct one for the Campaign or Classic Battle game that you are playing: Live.staticflickr.com
I'm playing as Russian offline campaign. Im just curious that Prussian army didnt hit by winter attrition when they landed on my land. Is attrition erased?
Yes, attrition was removed because the AI doesn't know how to work with it and will leave their armies out in the cold weather rather than garrisoning them in towns and cities.

Lord Davan i have this issue everytime i click on napoleon total war 3 it says The code execution cannot proceed because of QT5CORE.DLL was not found please reinstalling the program may fix this problem already did that but it aint working any fix?
Best to first check that the ntw vanilla game is working correctly. Go to the NTW3 desktop and select "Restore vanilla", if that's good then remove the NTW3 mod with the uninstaller as shown: Live.staticflickr.com then remove any NTW files and folders and reinstall the NTW3 mod as shown in the video above (Aug. 14th)
No i am saying that everytime i open napoleon total war 3 launcher it always says qt5core.dll is missing
Then you may have a conflict with another mod, best to do a clean install of the vanilla game & NTW3 mod.
