Napoleonic Total War III is the latest Napoleonic modification developed by The Lordz Modding Collective (LMC), based on Creative Assembly’s latest title Napoleon: Total War. NTW3 is an in-depth modification and the result of 4 years of development (since 2010), bringing you, as always, the most historically accurate and breathtaking multiplayer experience to date.
Bug fixes for Classic Battles. This patch is essentially about the new Peninsular campaign. To install NTW3, first install version 8.3 (core + maps + themes).

Great.. But is this a stand alone patch from v8.3? Or do we need 8.5 for it to work? Or do we need the original 8.1 campaign for this to work?
You need to have the v8.3 Core, Map & Theme files installed before downloading the NTW3v86 patch (which is cumulative) and brings everything up to date for the Classic Battle mod.
Can we put it on 8.5 aswell?
for the past two days I get "Network error" when trying to download the patch from mirror #1 and #2 -- #7 worked
Heavy downloads over the holidays probably caused the Network delays

Hello, I was playing as Russia and for some reason I can't declare war on the Ottoman empire. I don't have the option in the diplomacy screen and when I click to attack their city on the campaign map, there's the declaration of war screen, I click "yes" and nothing happens. Is that intentional? Or did I install the patch incorrectly? I had the 8.5 patch before I installed this one.
Pick Russia in the Ottoman Campaign. Declaring war between Austria/Russia and the Ottomans was disabled in the Grand Campaign, because the AI got carried away too much towards the eastern war theatre, hence ignoring the main French threat.

I noticed something strange in the Peninsular Campaign on the french side. Joseph Bonaparte doesn't appear like a general on the campaign map and during battles all his abilities (rally, encourage) are unavailable.
One other strange thinng : general have a travel range inferior to infantry. Armies without general can travel farer than armies with one.

Hey, is there anyway to edit the unit and fund sizes for multiplayer in the updates after 8.1? I realize that I am probably in the minority of people who like to have huge armies and do 1v1s or 2v2s with friends and that the latest updates are designed to be uniform so that the majority of the player base can have a better game experience with less lag, but I usually only play with a small group of close friends who like to do 2v2 battles with large funds and unit sizes. I understand that it may not be possible to find a way to change the game files to accommodate for us and we may have to play on the outdated 8.1 as having slight variations of newer updates meant to set a uniform limitation on armies for convenience is counter productive, but it would be much appreciated for the few of us who don't fall into the normal player base to be able to have some fun with the new factions and units in these updates while also being able to have larger armies.
This mini essay is by no means meant to offend or insult you guys who have worked tirelessly to give us this amazing mod and I know i may sound ungrateful for all of the work you guys put into it, but any help would be appreciated and I understand if you guys can't/ won't help due to your presumably busy schedules as well as my request going against what you guys have set out to do in the latest updates. Anyways, thank you for giving up your time to read my ramblings and thank you for producing such an awesome mod.
A few ways to improve realism in this NTW mod are firstly, if ports previously capable of manufacture and repair of ships are captured on occupation of the region, then that conquering nation should be permitted to manufacture and /or repair ships also. Especially so if a lumber mill or saw mill are present in the region.
Secondly, when over-running enemy artillery, the facility to spike or capture that ordnance should be permitted.
Finally, it seems unlikely and bizarre that a conquering army is faced with a rebellion of battle-hardened infantry and cavalry supported by artillery when that conquering army is in control of the buildings capable of manufacture of such and even more so if the buildings are damaged. Would it be possible to incorporate these amendments into the game ?
Lord Wesley and I discussed the status of captured ports in the campaign game. It was felt the defeated nation would would do their best to deter a foreign take over of their naval assets by scuttling ships, and destroying docks & equipment. The ship wrights would disband and it would take considerable time to get them back to work (if ever).
Your second point can not be changed, CA hard coded it this way in their battle stats. Agreed it would be nice, in later campaigns Napoleon's army was made up of 1/3 rd captured artillery pieces. They really liked the quality of the Prussian artillery.
If you're playing the NTW3 campaign game we took out the rebel army cannons and heavy cav a long time ago. You should face only some small cav units, militia and/or skirmishers.
Hello, I have installed version 8.3 up to 8.6. I wanted to play as Bavaria as a Single player campaign. Now I do not find it. Where is the bavaria campaign accesable in 8.6 or do I have to only install 8.0?
You will have to download the earlier v8.0 campaigns & v8.1 patch to play either Bavaria or Wurttemberg. Here's more info on our TWC NTW3 forum (post #2): Twcenter.net

I have noticed that during single player campaign playing as Prussia, the ability to create recruits disappears once construction of a Drill School from a Barracks is achieved. Can this be correct since units 'on order' also disappear before being created once building change occurs
Some of the lower end infantry units mare dropped from the recruitment roster bar (which is limited in size) to make room for Veteran units.
It must be stressed that the comment relating to loss of recruitment ability whilst playing Prussia refers to the Brandenburg capital, Berlin

Hi, firstly to the team, what an awesome mod! Thanks so much. :) :)
Everything is absolutely perfect except i think i'm missing out. I cant seem to get the new peninsular campaign to load. It loads when i click it on the launcher but once in the menu and "coalition campaigns" is clicked the game crashes. All other campaigns work perfectly.
I have installed all 8.3 files and patches 8.5 and 8.6. Any help is much appreciated!

Make sure that you select the Peninsula campaign from the NTW3v8.6 desktop launcher Live.staticflickr.com
Then go to "Single Campaign" select "The Peninsula Campaign" at the bottom of the menu

For some reason my coalition campaigns crash when ending turn making it unplayable. Also as the Swedish navy or against it whenever im starting a naval battle it crashes when loading in. Other nation's navies work fine? What can i do to these crashes?

The campaign multi-player only worked back with the NTW3 v5.0 European mod. Changes to the updates since then does not allow the mp campaigns to be sync'd online.

HEy there, i have a problem with the napoleon total war 3 mod. everything works but the resolution of my screen isnt high enough so that a part of the menu is cut off and i cant select any faction when i want to play a custom battle. I tried to lower the resolution in the settings but then more has been cut off. Can anyone help?

Hi.. i have a problem with campaign.. i play with kingdom of Italy, and when enemy attack city with star fort, this not appears in battle map.. when play with ntw 7.5 or ntw 8.0 not have this problem. Now have ntw 8.3 (core, maps, themes) and patch ntw8.6, works well, crash end turn rare, only fortress problem..

am I suppose to launch game from the NTW3 8.6 exe or the steam exe? I have tried both and niether work.
Uninstall the NTW3 mod, cleanup your HD and reinstall with this video:
i delete any ntw files with unistall system, and eliminated campaign files and any folder of mod in the data. I reinstall in this order:
ntw 8.3 core
ntw 8.3 maps
ntw 8.3 themes
ntw 8.5 patch
ntw 8.6 patch
the fort are present in campaign map, but not appaire in battle map.
when starting Play battle in main menu, and open siege battle, description of fort map not present..
You don't need the v8.5 patch but it will not change anything. I'm not sure if Lord Cosak enabled the fort sieges in the NTW3 mod with all of the custom that are included to play.
