When will it be released?

At this stage we are unable of providing a stable release date for the mod due to a number of reasons, including but not limited to lack of textures for key models necessary for a potential release as well as renegade and terrain assets, as up to a few weeks we were focusing solely on getting some of the key Imperial Guard assets closer to a finished state, as you can see in the gallery.

What games will the mod support?

We are focusing exclusively on developing it for Men of War, though may port it over to Assault Squad at a later stage after one or two stable releases.

What factions will the mod have?

At first there will be the Imperial Guard represented by the Cadian Shock Troops against first-stage Chaos Renegades (think Vraks volume 1, human rebels with no noticeable Chaos influences or support).

After these two are done, we will move on to Space Marines and their traitor brethren, the former represented by Salamanders and Imperial Fists (they won the popularity contest). The Chaos warband however is still to be decided, though we have a pretty good idea who to use.

Beyond these 4, it gets tricky. I have already filtered out each of the 11 main factions (I don't count Grey Knights, Daemons or Sisters of Battle) to get an early idea of what can or can't be used in terms of units, abilities, playing styles, animations, models and coding. I'm not going to tell you what those factions are, but it's still a good number.

How many regiments will the Cadians have?

2 or 3 at first release, including our own 113th Cadian Rifles who will be featured in the campaign, the generic olive drab and green armor of the 8th Cadian (though possibly a different regimental number so you guys don't complain about the lack of Creed) and possibly one more to fill out the seasons.
113th: Desert.8th: Temperate.[n]th: Snow.

We also intend to release a blank texture so you can make your own homebrew regiments to populate your own scenarios. (or you can just edit an existing one, whatever floats your boat)

Will there be [insert IG regiment/SM chapter/CSM warband/etc name]?

We plan on releasing other famous regiments/chapters/warbands at later stages of development to help keep the factions fresh, each will have their own pros and cons as well as unique play styles when applicable.

So for example a player with a Death Korps Siege regiment would play quite differently from another player with Elysian Drop Troops.

Will there be [insert vehicle/unit/weapon/wargear name]?

If it's in the codex, then it's quite likely to make an appearance, check the gallery.

Will you go commercial like The Great War mod?

Regarding the commercialization subject, we have no plans to turn the mod into a full game. We are making this project for fun and intend to share with the community when we feel like it's in a fully playable state.

How will the mod be balanced between Space Marines vs other fleshy factions?

There's a number of possible ways to fix this issue, one of which being that Space Marine players will have limited resources and numbers compared to other, more numerous factions where their powerful infantry will always be outnumbered when going up against a competent opponent. But it's too early to talk about specifics.

Cause it's not really fair for the community rigth ? Imagin : You whait for he mod to be realised for like 5 year and then when he his to be released the modder team suddenly wich to make it he game and more make he game in different part (3 if i can remind) 20 $ each ! I assure you , you will be disgusted and i pray the migthy Emperor that Chompster will not fall on the heretic side !

Wouldn't count on it. Melee is a big part of Wh40K but like you said, it's done very poorly in MoW and we don't have the resources to change that. So use of melee will be scarce and weapon will most be for looks.

You need help my friend.Sulleman1 can help you.His mod dark sintera is shooting and melee.Althrough,the human or breed only melee at close proximity but fauna can melee and shooting at the same time just like in his mod.Take this as my advice,if you want to make your melee combat part of your mod just like wh40k ask him for help.Trust me,he can help you,it christmas anyway.

The Inquisition formally approves this mod. Carry on fellow Servant of the Emperor, we all look forward to seeing this mod ported to Men of War: Assault Squad so we may lead great armies of the Imperial Guard of Chapters of Space Marines to victory.
