This mod was started with the mindset to change the way Destroyed Village looked. That soon changed when Destroyed Village turned out amazing. [EOI]MoLoCh and [EOI]SuB-0 decided that the game would be much more fun if we were to go ahead and make a full texture conversion mod. This proved to be a HUGE undertaking. In total there are over 3,500 MOHAA textures that have been modified in some way. We tried to create all original textures, while even though about 98% are custom textures, there are still a select few that were extracted from Call Of Duty.

I am very glad to inform you that the project has passed the alpha testing stage. This means that everyone can use the texture pack at the link below. It replaced all the textures in the game, except particles, sprites, etc. Texture pack is very large, about 20GB after unpacking.

MANUAL:

  1. Download from there: Mega.nz
  2. Unpack this file to gameroot/main
  3. While you’re in the main menu please uncheck «texture compression»

READY:

  1. Scenes, locations (from start to finish);
  2. Weaponry;
  3. Vehicles;
  4. Some models (except faces);

NOT READY:

  1. Human models;
  2. HUD AND UI;
  3. Fonts;
  4. Effects;
  5. Sprites;
  6. Menu;

Known problems: some textures didn’t look quite well, because this is just an alpha release, that’s why you can see some artifacts, because of AI upscaling. Some textures didn’t look properly; I am working on it now. Time of loading the levels increased, because larger size of textures.

Yes, of course, soon I'll redone a lot of textures manually, after that I'll split one archive to some directions, like: weapon, stages, etc. The package now is only one part of my job, proof of concept.

PLEASE, next time use DROPBOX or google drive as MEGA is a f**kin pain in the *** to download huge files. Requesting to download extensions, apps, over-limit transference quota and etc.

Great job! I just had a problem with gas masks on Afrika Corps.
What about the expansions? Is there any way to apply the textures?

The only big downside is the download.. give us some alternatives to MEGA.
