Lynch is a first person, survival horror mod built for ID software's Doom 3 engine. Inspired greatly by games such as Manhunt, Theif, Condemned: Criminal origins and films like Irreversible and Man bites dog, the mod throws the player into a desperate situation in which they must fight and/or think to survive. Violence is not the only answer here, nor is it entirely necassary, but you will be frequently forced into asking questions regarding morality, and the primal instinct for survival.

For the most part Lynch is being created as a one man effort, however given that this one man (ie: me) has the brainpower of a garden pea, tutorials, advice and general pointers given by a variety of resources has been utilised, all of whom are credited on the Team section of the site.

Please bare in mind that all the following ingame shots were taken during the intial Test Build, which as said before was basically used so i could learn the software. Therefore they are intended more as an indication of the mods artistic direction, and are not a true reflection of it's current and intended quality.

First and foremost I would like to add that I am indeed recruiting in the areas of scripting/coders! If you have ANY knowledge in these areas please don't hesitate to get in contact, more info on the Jobs page.

Also have some conceptual music on show. This is the same case as the screenshots, ie very much a work inprogess, and at this point considered more of an indication of direction as opposed to any sort of final piece. Be forewarned that the following can not really be considered music in the conventional sense. I'm going for an extremely noise dominated style for this, and although the final soundtrack will also consist of 'proper' music, such sound is being kept under wraps until release of the mod.

Some cool looking media--I think you should set up the site though so you dont have to click so many times to get the full view.

Thanks loads to each of you! Those were far better responses than I was expecting to get lol I'm aware some of the media at the moment is a bit crappy but I wanted to get some info out before I started releasing any of the major content, should have some ingame videos, and new character models in the next few weeks!

Cheers again!

Very good point my friend! The site will indeed go under reworking once the project grows beyond its infancy, has obtained some sort of fanbase and has more substantial media, and I will take your comments under great consideration!
