The Football War (La guerra del fútbol), also known as the Soccer War or 100 Hour War, was a brief war fought by El Salvador and Honduras in 1969. The cause of the war was economic in nature, namely issues concerning immigration from El Salvador to Honduras. These existing tensions between the two countries coincided with rioting during the second North American qualifying round of the 1970 FIFA World Cup. The war began on 14 July 1969, when the Salvadoran military launched an attack against Honduras.
This mod is based in a fictional extension of the existing conflict lasting more than just 4 days that shows the Central America world torn apart by war. Fight over the skies of Latin America in some of the last piston engine aircraft battles of history or as a foot soldier battling over the jungle below. Weapons/vehicles from the era! New animations, textures, maps, factions etc

Both are my parents are Salvadorean. My dad was only 5 years old when this short war started. He remembered looking outside his window in the district he lived called "Ciudad Delgado" in San Salvador, and it was the early morning and he remembers a couple bombers flying over San Salvador headed to Honduras.
