MACfileTool v1.0.1 - EDF4.1 mod "Map modification sample mission" for Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon
Now that I can edit some of the maps, I've created a collection of missions to introduce them. There are only 5 missions in total, but here you go.

***Confirmed to work only with EDF5. Sorry, EDF4.1 is not supported due to different MAPO specifications. ---Updated features in v1.0.1 (1)Slight modifications were made to the layout. (2)A part of MAPB 1st Data can be edited. (3)MAPB 2nd Data has been added with the following functions. (a)Copy/delete the currently selected map object. (b)Rotate the selected map object about XYZ axis.

could i theoreticly make an starship troopers Wiskey outpost map with this ?
and have endless streams of Ants attack it?
Currently, this tool can only move map objects, so you cannot create your own terrain or buildings. I believe that swarms of ants can be created with the mission editor.
