Hi there, I've been stalled on some gimmicks on Level4... but with the combination of SECTOR OBJECT and SECT_ROTATOR, I've solved it! It's not the best result, but it's acceptable. I'm starting to feel like I want to call this map "Water Torture 2" :)
Now that the first half is coming together, I need to do something about the large scale battle in the second half.
I want to pack as much as I can into this add-on that I want to do. This is a far cry from the orthodox map. I just want to be careful not to overdo it.
This past week has been a great success. I've learned a lot about ST1 effects through repeated experimentation on test maps. I understand that I won't get enough answers by asking around, as it is a very old game engine, and I have to repeat the tests myself to find a compromise and move forward.
