Diseased is the must-play Doom 3 mod of the century. The game incorporates gritty real-life ideas of psychology and psychotherapy to scare you. Inside you'll find new levels, new scares, and new surprises as you battle your way out of a mental institution filled to the brim with convicted murderers and killers who have all 'lost their way'. As the player progresses they'll find themselves wrapped up in a story so large that even mouse button 1 won't save them. After the power systems short out and all the patients are freed you need to find your way out. Shortly after the patients seem to be showing some kind of illness, a disease brought to the hospital that hasn't ever been seen before.

So what are we doing here at WhiteFire Studios you ask? Not a whole lot, unless you count writing the story, working on maps, and working on the website. And first off, sorry for the wwebsite, I know it's taken forever but we want to get it right and our programmer is slow so that puts a hold on

So what are we doing here at WhiteFire Studios you ask? Not a whole lot, unless you count writing the story, working on maps, and working on the website. And first off, sorry for the wwebsite, I know it's taken forever but we want to get it right and our programmer is slow so that puts a hold on things.

The mapping and story are coming along nicely. We're having weekly meetings to explain our ideas, show what we've done, and brainstorm. We've thought up some really cool environment ideas, gameplay ideas, and story ideas that are sure to keep you playing.

And to end this great news I'll post a plee, please watch us and even mention our name once in awhile. Comment on the front of our Moddb page if you really got some guts!!!
